Luna had devoured a ridiculous amount of food throughout the day and even now with darkness having fallen hours ago she was still starving. This new found appetite was ridiculous and she now understood why Dymitrius had such large meals. The pair of them were lingering on the edge of the forest with Connor and a few others behind them as they planned out the root for how exactly they were going to get Gabbie's family out of danger. Luna had opted for skin tight high waisted leather trousers which were silent thanks to some handy spells she had learned as a kid, with a lace bodysuit tucked in and a leather jacket over top. Everyone was dressed in dark clothing to assist with going unprotected. In a near whisper she said to her companion, "I've cloaked our scents, the magic will hold as long as we stay close but if anyone is separated the spell will wear off."
Connor had indeed ended up falling asleep on the sofa with his wife in his arms, utterly exhausted was how he felt after the hell hound had taken over. When his phone wouldn't stop ringing Gabbie eventually elbowed him hard in the gut to wake him up. It had been his brother urging him to join him for tonights mission. Now he lurked behind his Alpha and Luna, watching as they surveyed the area ahead while he stood back with Roman to his left. He was dressed in black jeans, which were only ever really used for scouting, and a black shirt with an equally dark hoodie over the top. His ears twitched, Luna's words reaching as a mere whisper on the wind. Focusing into his brothers mind he said, she retained her magic then? that should have been impossible.
Alaric was an ancient vampire, he had lived for well over three hundred years and he long since stopped counting. His pearl white hair reached down to his navel but tonight it was held back by a scrap of leather, plaited, as to not send his scent sailing to any nearby filthy dogs. Considering this was their territory he needed to be at least somewhat careful, especially after on of his non-biological brothers had been slaughtered the night before. It had been foolish to venture here on the night of a full moon but some of the younger members thought it would be some sort of foolish adventure.
