Alexander watched the guards as they filled into the room, as they spread out to make sure that they would be able to get everyone. He just watched as they grabbed hold of the first person, altho he didn't register who it was. He continued to watch as the one that had been the first into the room barked out orders to the rest, telling them to start grabbing people. Alexander was unable to move a muscle, even if he tried, it was like if fear had taken over his body. That fear mixed with the immense heat that had started by his stomach but that by now had taken over all of hi body, the feeling was not only warm it also hurt, like if a fire had started inside him and was trying to burn through his flesh and bones. His mussels ached and he would probably have given in to the pin totally, to let his body fall to the floor, but something stoped him and it took Alexander while before realising that it was two guards that was prepared to carry him out of the room.
Alexander didn't want to go, he knew that he left now he would never meet these teens again, and they had just started to get to know each other. Despite that he also had no idea what would happen now, would the experiments continue as usual, had the scientist just simply added a new element to the game, Alexanders desire to see and speak with these people again? Or would he and up dead in a ditch somewhere. The though of death didn't scare him as much as he had thought it would, if was almost like he was used to it but he had no idea when that had hapend.
The guards had by now started to drag Alexander out of the room, he still refused to walk and his muscles just seemed to hurt even more even if he tried his best to fight the pain. He needed to do something, anything. He wasn't the type of person that just gave up and he wouldn't do that now, the only problem was that he had no idea what he would do, especially when his body hurt inn a way it had never done before and all his brain really could think of was how much he really just wanted to curl up to a small ball on the floor and disappear, how he just wanted everything to end.
They reached the door and by that time Alexander knew that it was over. He would never be able do fight the two guards that held him and he would therefore not be able to get back to the others. He wasn't about to give up, but he simply gave in, in hope that he could live to fight another day. So that is what Alexander did, he gave in and gave the pain and fear permission to consume him.
Nothing hapend at first, the pain simply disappeared when let go of it. A moment later, just as they had started to walk down the hall, Alexander could hear a screen of pain. At first he thought that it was coming from himself, it was first later when he could see the yellow and orange flames that he realised that he was not the one that had screamed. Flames danced all around him but Alexander couldn't feel any kind of pain, he just felt drained of all power and energy. The hand that previously had been holding on to him let go of their grip. The guards arms badly burnt and their clothes still on fire, despite their best efforts to put it out. Alexander felt himself fall down to his knees, he was exhausted and a bit dizzy, almost like if he was going to faint any second, his vision for blurry and he could badly hear the screams of pain coming from the guards. Alexander was still unharmed.
