gustav turned his head to rosalie when she came back in the room and smiled a little bit. "i'm glad she does, it'd be awful if she hated her daddy!" he laughed and made a 'moo' noise at lily, of which she returned and made him grin even more, as he held her close to him, sitting her on his lap and supporting her. "oh.. is it nap time? you said you'd come down when it was time to sleep."

 

quincy glanced into the living room to watch him for a little while, it was so cute, the way he was with her. but she had to stop herself from falling for him again, she didn't want to become heartbroken, it hurt too much the first time he walked away from her. she took the clean washing upstairs, made their cups of tea and then went into the living room, resting the cups on the small table in the corner.

gustav nodded his head, smiling a little bit. "of course I do. I want this more than anything, you two are the only two people I have come back for. I haven't stopped feeling guilty and it makes me so upset every day but i'm just glad you want me in her life. thank you." he smiled and ran his hand along the cute curls lily had on the top of her head, kissing her forehead. she still had that cute baby smell. c:

 

quincy went and sat down next to them. it was sweet how good he was with her already but she had to take it one tep at a time, she couldn't fully trust him, not yet. she tucked her hair behind her ear as she turned the tv on and put cbeebies on for her, and watched as she grabbed onto cole's top and pulled herself to stand up. she smiled a little, taking her cup of tea, sipping it slowly.

gustav stood up with lily and kissed her forehead. "yeah i'd like that a lot.. I wanna spend as much time with her as I can.." he smiled and handed her over to rosalie, kissing her head one more time before she took her upstairs. she was the most adorable little girl ever and he felt so lucky to be able to know that she was his daughter. he felt like a proper proud father.

 

quincy nodded her head. "she can walk about but she doesn't like it unless she has her shoes on.. so she just crawls around the house. and she mumbles some words. her favourite word at the moment is 'no'." she laughed a little and watched as she squealed about, clapping her hands together and then fell back on her bum. "she looks just like you."

 

gustav walked into the kitchen after her and sat at the table, running a hand through his hair before ruffling it. "uh, i'll have whatever you're having. I won't stick around for too long if you don't want me to, don't want to disrupt her routine or whatever." he smiled a little as he glanced over at her, shrugging his shoulders as he looked over at her.

 

saffron giggled when he did, grabbing his hands and biting his fingers. "NOOOOOO." she was very ticklish that was for sure. quincy sighed when he started complimenting her, she didn't want that from him because she was falling for him all over again. "cole stop it.." she frowned and shook her head, rolling a ball over to saffron who threw it around the room.

gustav smiled as she made it for him. he took it and had a sip, smiling, licking his top lip clean. "yum, thank you. this is delicious." he smiled and leaned back as he looked at her. for a while he was enjoying the silence but then he wanted to speak to her. he tilted his head to the side. "so.. this is onna sound weird but.. tell me about when she was vorn. was she early or what?" he bit his bottom lip.

 

quincy shook her head. "I don't want you to speak to me like that, there is nothing between me and you any more cole, things aren't going to happen and you'll have to get used to that." she shrugged. "well where do you wanna go? I might be busy tomorrow but you can takr saffron." she bit her bottom lip and nodded her head, sipping her cup of tea, looking down at saffron and not him.

gustav gasped slightly as he listened, his eyes wide. he was extremely shocked about that and couldn't believe that she had had to go through that alone. "oh god rosalie, why didn't you try to get into contact with me? if I knew that had happened I would have returned in a heart beat. i'm just glad she's okay now!" he raised both eyebrows as he took a sip of his drink, thinking about it. it was crazy to think that lily might not have been alive if she had been seriously hurt in the car crash.

 

quincy could feel tears building up in her eyes, and she felt stupid for getting so upset. she wasn't as strong as she thought after all. "I love you too but it just can't happen. things are just to difficult and i'm okay the way I am." she got a tissue from the box on the small table and quickly dabbed at her eyes before taking a deep breath and nodding. "yeah she'd like that a lot. sounds good." she bit her bottom lip and finished her cup of tea. "right, nap time saffy." she picked her up off his lap.

gustav shook is head. "any man in their right mind would want to know that happened no matter what. even if I hated you, which I don't, I would want you to call me." he shrugged and put his cup in the sink, smiling and nodding, taking one of the cakes and  breaking it up before eating it. he grinned slightly, raising both eyebrows. "wow, these are yummy. always my favourite." he laughed and nodded, looking over at her. "no.. just working, sorting myself out. I don't drink any more." he smiled.

 

quincy was getting a little too upset and so just held saffron close as she carried her upstairs, resting her chin on her head. she lay her down in her small bed and kissing her forehead. she wiped her eyes and gave herself a moment to compose herself. she really did love him and it was taking up every bone in her body to try her best to not just fall into his arms all over again. but she liked being independent, she didn't want to become the needy girl she was before. she wiped her eyes before going back downstairs.
