I was passing his room when I heard him talk about a mission and a suspect. What was he talking about. I knew it was bad to listen inn on a conversation but this got my attention. I bit my lip as all the negative thoughts came flooding through my head. What if he was someone else? Or worse undercover as someone else.

I looked at the pasta and i spotted my fingers becoming red. I looked at the pasta to see it had pepper on it, but pepper wouldn't do this. As usual my father would ask me all these follow up questions, i wasn't interested in telling him much, just in case i was wrong. "Its a girl i've met, i've had my suspicions for a while, but im going to get it confirmed tonight" i said and was still hoping he would wish me good luck and say his goodbyes.

I was shocked to hear this. What did he suspect about me? Was I his mission? Non of this made any sense. I started to walk away from his room and back to the living room. The recent events were still in my head. It was making me dizzy. The stress on top of the anxiety did not help. I looked at her and smiled. "You taste first, I made it specially for you" I said and smiled. As I took up my plate I quickly glanced at the compass. it was pointing to the element sign. So I was right. She was a supernatural. I quickly glance at her but his my reaction as if nothing had happened. I was about to take a bite when I noticed her red fingers. She was a water element. As much as I wished this wasn't true I couldn't deny the proof infront of me. I put down the plate and was about to pull out my dagger when her fearful look stopped me.

I stood up and followed her. When I saw her tearful eyes my heart burned. But at the same time all the anger from my mothers death came."Why didn't you tell me?" I asked her with a little anger laced in my voice. It hurt to see her hurt but it was almost as if my mothers wound from her death reopened again.

I looked at her and took her hand and gave it another reassuring squeeze like before my phone rang. "He was just bragging about this new business deal he just got" i lied and looked up at her. "My father has this personality where he tells me everything he does right in his life, just to make me feel like i've made the wrong decision and not follow in his footsteps". I looked at her in the eyes, i could clearly see she was stressed out, i was even beginning to wonder if she may have heard me.

(im going to bed now, as i have school tomorrow, but i'll be back tomorrow afternoon)

I looked at her and closed my fists " You guys killed my mother" I said and looked at her. My anger calmed down a little after i said that and when I saw her tears. Why was I feeling bad for her? She wasn't human and I had to kill her. She should have been dead by ow but i couldn't bring myself to do it. What was wrong with me? "Why do you pretend to be human and live in this world when you clearly don't belong here. You make humans feel unsafe. SO many humans has lost their families due to supernaturals" I said with my teeth gritted.

Worry about his wellbeing and do what my mother deserves and father expects" I told her and took a step towards her "Thats the difficult part. I don't know. " I said while lying. I kew she could ever hurt anyone, but she didn't need to know that or else it would be seen as a weakness.

I looked at her. She had courage that I admired. I flinched a little by her touch and sighted. "You haven't exactly left humans with the best impression either" I said and took her hand away from my face and held it. What should I do? If this was anyone else they would be lying dead by now. But why couldn't I bring my self to it with her?

We could make some food and just watch a movie?" i asked and smiled at her, i needed to gain her trust again. That stupid phone from my father shouldn't have rang, because of him i needed to go a different way on this mission.

I closed my eyes and sighted before i put up my hands in defense "your right, I haven't because I can't" I said. I needed her to believe me so I could execute my plan. It was killing me from inside but it had to be done
