Throughout the class, Penny slowly forgot about the morning and the strange feeling she had gotten from seeing Troy. All she could think of, as time passed, was how she was finally going to check out the rock that landed in the woods. Of course Lori was coming along as well, which made Penny slightly nervous, the more she thought about it, considering she hadn't made any efforts to make new friends since she was a kid. But it was probably going to be fine.
"Hey, did your hear Jimmy broke up with Angela?" Natalie whispered, snapping Penny out of her thoughts.

"Oh, no, sorry, it's not like that," Logan fumbled at Lori's response, a bit flustered. He nodded along as she spoke. "Yeah, yeah, I've got math."
He thought about her comment about the aliens, and realised he had never really questioned what his parents actually did. All he knew was that him and Lori always seemed to find themselves bumping into each other every 5 years or so, and that their parents apparently worked together with some science stuff. He didn't see his dad much, and his mom never spoke of him really.
Logan motioned for them to walk to class together as they spoke. "Why did you move here? I mean, I know about the meteor and stuff, but... Why you too?"
