Valencia was already being checked up on doctors in one of the special rooms; she kept putting her hands over her ears, closing her eyes shut and screaming loudly, trying to drown out the noise that was frightening her. The nurses tried to calm her down, trying to convince her that there was no strange sound but they knew it was no use. She would keep screaming until it was gone. Who knew how long that could be? Valencia calmed down after a few minutes and immediately the doctor started to run some tests, handing her a glass of water and smoothed out her hair. "Don't worry, Valencia, you'll be fine." She said gently. But she didn't know what Valencia was really put through. After long hours of being checked on, being put on meds and special treatment, Arielle was finally let out and put in a wheelchair, as she was exhausted and would find it hard to move. A nurse would be pushing her around for now and she took Arielle to the meeting. Sitting next to her, Val held her hand. "It's gone..." She said quietly and the nurse agreed it was, though she didn't know what Valencia had heard. She looked at the rest of the people with her tired eyes and tried to smile at them.
Cruz was in a taxi he had paid with the little money he had left. His little sister, Charlotte, was sitting right next to him, holding his hand tight. She was told her brother was being taken to another care home but Charlotte was old enough to understand why he was going and knew it was for the best. But she would miss him. And Cruz would miss her. They both hadn't been the same when their mother died and Cruz had changed the most. The death had created a trauma and he could never look at life through the same eyes in the way he used to again. As they saw the building, Charlotte tightened her grip on Cruz's arm and he kissed her head. The driver parked and the two of them got out the car, carrying bags inside the building. They stood to face each other and swallowed hard. "You behave, Trouble." He said to her softly and ruffled her hair. "But if you ever need help on a prank, call me." He said jokingly to lighten up the mood. They both laughed and giggled and then they stopped, tearing up and hugging each other. "It's not going to be the same without you!" Exclaimed Charlotte. Cruz bent down, putting his hands on her shoulders. Wioing her tears away, he smiled ruefully. "Hey, hey. I know it won't be. And it won't be the same without you either. But we have to learn to live woth it, okay? I'll see you soon, Trouble, just wait and see." He sniffed and kissed her cheek. "I'll miss you, Charlie." He said and hugged her again. He phoned up her care worker to take her home and he watched her from the taxi, waving at him. He waved back.
