~leaving cole until either aislin wants him or they go home, ok ok~

"Because I love you."
He let the words hang between them, looking past her to the scene behind them. He didn't want to look at her and after saying that, he felt practically naked. He frowned a little, clenched his jaw and turned to walk back inside. He'd had enough.

Katia laughed and shook her head, taking the ring off him.
"No, you're alright." She pushed the ring up onto the middle finger. Wiggling her fingers as the light caught the diamond and made it shine. "It somehow looks even prettier now."
~
shall we just skip to them being at home now girl???

yes gurl, i was gonna mail you.
so i'll skip in this post.

Aislin stretched out over the balcony of her apartment, enjoying the view of the cars that passed busily in the streets. While everything was moving around hectically, her brain slowed down and allowed her to reflect on things. They'd gotten back from holiday almost a month ago and yet the only person from their group that she'd spoken with was TJ. She and Auden hadn't left on good terms, Katia and Alex were too busy with one another and then there was Cole. The last she'd seen him was when he was flirting with the flight attendant. She shook her head a bit at the thought. Even in the month or so that had passed, she wasn't completely over him. Her feelings of course had lessened but they were still present. Her thoughts were interrupted when her boyfriend wrapped his arms around her shoulder.

Auden's eyes popped open as she felt the familiar wave of nausea that she'd seen for the last week or so. Sitting up in bed, she tossed her duvet aside before quickly standing on her feet and rushing towards the bathroom. Bursting through the bathroom, she scrunched down over the toilet before relieving herself. She frowned when she was reunited with the bits of pizza she had scarfed down last night. Flushing the toilet, she stood up and looked at herself in the mirror. Shaking her head, she grabbed her toothbrush from out of its holder and started to brush her teeth. Sighing to herself, she held her toothbrush in place when she saw the small calendar she used to mark her days. It had been a little over a month before she'd last been visited Aunt Flo and while she blamed it on her stress from dealing with her breakup, she couldn't say that she wasn't the least bit frightened by the thought of her being pregnant.

Alex slept with his arm wrapped around Katia who'd moved in after they'd gotten back home. While it was a pretty tough time merging their different styles together he was more than happy waking up with her every morning. He breathed deeply when the light peeked through the blinds and skittered over his face. Frowning, he turned onto his back before sitting up and running his hands over his face. He blinked rapidly as his eyes struggled to get used to the change in light. Looking over his shoulder, he smiled at Katia who lie on the bed with her eyes shut lightly. He leant over her and laced small kisses against her shoulder blade, a sweet attempt of getting her to wake up.

Max had just woken up and upon finding Aislin's side of the bed empty, he got up too. He pulled on a pair of fresh boxers and then a pair of joggers just to chill about in. He went out the bedroom and into the kitchen, then into the living room, where he saw her out on the balcony. He smiled a little and went out to her, wrapped his arms around her shoulders, pressing a kiss to the back of her head.
"What the fuck are you doing out here, it's freezing?" He smirked a little, pressing against her to get the warmth.
He'd met Aislin only a week after her return from holiday and they just clicked instantly. He adored everything about her and was fast falling in love.

Cole was in the shower, his face held up against the strong sprays of water. The bruises had faded a lot more after a month, although the cut lip was still present as was the broken nose. He turned the shower off and stepped out the shower, walking straight through to the bedroom. A girl was lay in his bed, butt naked after last night. Before the holiday, he'd have been pretty pleased with the find but right now, he just felt empty about the whole thing. The endless girls were an attempt to fill the loneliness but every time he woke up he knew it wasn't ever going to be enough. It never stopped him from trying again however. She woke up, murmuring about having a quickie before she hit work. Cole just shook his head, forcing a laugh.
"Nah, I'm in a bit of a rush myself. I'd love to but I can't. So..." He paused before ushering his hands, telling her to leave. She moaned as she pulled on her clothes and left, slamming the door behind her. He ran his hands down his face and exhaled, moving them round to rub at the tense muscles in his neck.

TJ was in his kitchen, his head resting on the top of the kitchen counter as he nursed a hangover. He was drinking a lot more recently and this was just another morning after. He heard the ping of the microwave and he lifted his head to go over and fetch it out. A nice microwave pizza to start the day. He carried it through to the living room and sat on the sofa to eat it, in front of the telly. The apartment felt pretty empty without Auden around and he hated it. It was too quiet and eerie for his liking but he still didn't want to forgive her. She was stubborn and after trying again once, hadn't returned. He missed her though. He hadn't seen much of his friends since the holiday, except for Aislin. She'd been a pretty good friend and they'd helped each other through both their relationships. Cole being the bastard behind both of them falling apart.

Katia's eyes fluttered as she felt the feathery kisses against her shoulder blade. She exhaled deeply and turned over onto her back, a small smile playing at her lips. Her eyes remained shut since she wasn't used just yet, despite it being a month, to getting woken up by someone else. She eventually opened them to look at him, the smile growing wider. She truly believed he was the best thing to wake up to, there was no one more beautiful in her opinion.
"Morning." She whispered, reaching her hand up and lacing it through his hair, pulling him down for a kiss. "You gonna get the breakfast on the go or just carry on watching me sleep?"

Aislin smiled slightly as she turned round to give him a small soft kiss. "Uh, I was just thinking about a few things. Mostly about you." She smiled, figuring that it'd be the sweeter thing to say instead of going into detail of what she actually was thinking about." She wiggled free from his grip and left him out on the balcony before walking into the kitchen to make herself a cup of tea. She felt bad for having slight feelings for someone else while entering in a relationship with him. Especially since she was tuned in to just how deeply he felt about her.

Auden stuffed the small pocket sized calendar back into her cabinet before finishing off her teeth. She stood on her tiptoe and looked at her stomach for any changes. She was still relatively little but somehow she saw something, or was it just her mind playing tricks on her. She quickly finished her morning routine so as to get away from the mirror. Leaving the bathroom, she closed the door behind her before returning to her room and getting her phone from its charger. She shot a quick text to Cole as she took a seat on her bed, "Once you're finished washing your sheets and escorting your one night stand out, stop by yeah?" Cole had been the friend who she'd easily been able to fall back on. Mostly everyone else isolated her and somehow marked her with a scarlet letter after finding out she cheated on TJ. But he was understanding and since he'd been her partner in the act, she found it much easier to talk to him.

Alex laughed before taking the pillow and hitting her gently. "Well, either option sounds pretty good to me. But since I'm starving I guess I'll go with the first option." He bent down and kissed her on her neck, mocking the overly dramatic way that they did it in the films. "Alright. Eggs and pancakes then?" He raised his eyebrow before slipping out of the bed and adjusting his briefs. They were the absolute worst but he refused to do laundry and it just so happened that all of his boxers were piled to the brim in the hamper. Looking down at his bulge, he laughed lightly before turning away from her. "I'll do breakfast but that leaves the clothes for you." He stated not really giving her an option as he left out of the room quickly before she could protest.

Max watched as she left but followed her back inside, cold without his shirt. She did that a lot and he becoming used to it. She wasn't affectionate and seemed to feel uncomfortable when he showed anything toward her. He sighed, thinking about work before moaning.
"Do I have to go in? I can phone in sick, we can catch a movie? What's the shitty one you want to see, The Heat?" He grabbed at his work clothes on the radiator, he already knew what the answer would be from her.

He heard the ping from his phone and he rolled his eyes. He expected the girl to be texting about a missing shoe or something. He picked it up and opened it, seeing Aislin's message. He smirked a little and shot a text back, "escorting the one night stand out - check. washing the sheets??? cba. :-) sure thing, i'll cya later x" He wasn't too caught up with her asking him to stop by. They'd become closer after returning, since they'd fallen back on each other when everyone else turned their back. He got out some jeans rolled up once at the bottoms, a polo shirt and converse. He pushed back his hair while looking in the mirror but decided to just leave it as it is. A big floppy mess. He headed back into the bathroom to brush his teeth.

Katia pretended to bat her eyelashes as he kissed her beck, smirking.
"Oh, my hero." She sat up and combed her fingers through her hair, pulling at the band on her wrist to secure it in a high ponytail. "That sounds fine dear." She followed him out of bed, laughing as he adjusted the briefs. She gave him a small cheeky slap on the bum before walking to her wardrobe and opening it, leafing through her clothes. She heard him state her job before running out the room and she rolled her eyes. "Idiot" she muttered beneath her breath, as she closed the doors and picked up the hamper. She wrinkled her nose at the contents. She wondered how much a maid costs as she carried it through to the washing machine.

Aislin turned the kettle on, pushing down the top so that she'd be able to hear the high pitch whining noise that she enjoyed. "Uh. That sounds great but it's work and I don't want to be the reason you lose your job." She smiled as she turned to him watching as he grabbed his work clothes from off of the radiator. She knew she'd been pushing him away since they'd gotten together but how could she allow herself to let him truly fall in love her whilst she wasn't as devoted to the relationship. But still, seeing that look, the wanting look he gave every time she pulled away from him made her feel guilty and as if she needed something to secure their relationship. "I love you." She said, a little surprised as the words came out seeing as they hadn't said it before.

Auden didn't even bother checking her phone after her tone chimed, knowing that he would say yes. Who could resist her? She laughed at the thought before feeling her stomach again. She let out a small sigh before feeling around for something. How was a baby supposed to feel, was the question that played repeatedly in her head. Although she doubted if she was indeed pregnant that there would be anything there to feel. She scrunched her nose at the thought of having something growing inside of her. As her mind started wander she explored her thoughts of being pregnant. She was young and was getting into the routine of taking care of herself. How could she take care of another thing. She raised her eyebrow as she thought about TJ being the father but then her heart sank as she thought of the possibility of Cole being the father instead.

Alex raked his fingers through his hair that had hung sloppily over his eyes. He hadn't gotten it cut in a while and it was starting to show. He blew the small black hairs that reached the bottom of his nose back before grabbing a couple of pans for breakfast. Before reaching for the pancake mix, he heard his cell phone ringing in the next room. Sighing deeply, he figured it was his mom again. After they'd told their parents about them getting married, his mom had spent nearly every day wanting to discuss wedding plans. He looked between the pans and then towards the bedroom door knowing that if he missed his mom's phone call he could expect to be chewed out for an hour. Setting the pan down, he went after his phone and raised his eyebrow at an unfamiliar number. "Hello?" He asked, surprised when Cara's voice answered back.

Max nodded at her, not surprised with the answer as he was just expecting it. He smiled back at her and shrugged his shoulders.
"You're right, it's fine." He went to walk out the room before she said I love you, where he stopped in his tracks to look back at her. He crossed over to her and kissed her, nudging his forehead with hers softly. "I love you too." He smiled again and went out the room to get ready. He didn't bother with washing. Just pulled on his clothes, sprayed himself with deodorant and aftershave before brushing his teeth and washing his face. When he finally felt ready, he walked to the apartment door. "I'll see you when I get back... Love you!" He opened it and went out quickly, the love you not sitting right with him for some reason.

After he'd brushed his teeth and washed his face, he went out and through to the living room. Grabbing his car keys and his wallet, he pushed them into his pocket and stood thinking whether or not he'd forgotten something. When he was sure he hadn't, he went out, locking the door behind him, and headed to his car. He drove to Auden's place, parking in front and walking toward the door. He didn't bother to knock and just went right in, dropping his wallet and car keys on the side.
"Honey, I'm home" he called, a smirk present on his lips.

Katia poured out the contents of the hamper onto the floor, seperating the colours and the delicates, etc. As she worked, she heard the phone go and Alex answering. She smirked a little as she imagined his face when his mom started the usual routine of wedding plans. It was tiring but at least they weren't dealing with her parents as well. They had vowed to not be a part of any of it, shameful of Katia and her decisions. She didn't care though. She knew they'd come crawling back once she'd given birth to their first grandchild. She took out yesterdays load and replaced it with the first one of the day. Putting the washed load, into the dryer, she put the rest of the dirty ones back in the hamper to await the next wash.

Cara was sat at home on her bed, tears running down her face. She held the 11th pregnancy stick in her hand, two bright blue lines shown clearly on every single one. When she heard his voice, she closed her eyes as her bottom lip began to wobble again. She cleared her throat, the tears thick in her voice.
"Erm, hi, Alex? It's Cara. I need to talk to you... Urgently." She gave a small hiccough, trying her hardest not to break down again.

There was no way she could be pregnant. While she usually took her contraceptive pills pretty regularly, she'd fallen off a bit on holiday figuring she wouldn't quite need them since she'd argued a lot with TJ and hadn't been planning on sleeping with anyone else. She ran her fingers through her hair as she tried to calm herself down. There was no need in getting worked up over the unknown. Auden chose to stop thinking about the chances of her being pregnant. The timing was perfect as Cole opened the door to her house. A small smile crept against her lips as she got up from her bed and went down to greet him. "How was she then?" She asked raising her eyebrows, as she tilted her head towards the kitchen for him to follow her. As she walked into the kitchen, she looked around the cupboards for something to eat.

Alex was confused that she would bother calling him. That night she'd given him the ultimatum had been the last time he'd seen her and he hadn't ever spoken on the phone with her. After all, she was only a casual one night stand. So it puzzled him that she would call him asking for them to talk. "Sure, go ahead." He raised his eyebrow after hearing a slight hiccough coming from her end of the line. Was she crying? He sighed before looking over his shoulder after hearing Katia put a load into the dryer. He turned back towards the phone just as he remembered that she Katia had been friends with her before and there was a chance that she still lived around. "Or...do you need to talk in person?"

Cole followed her through into the kitchen, going straight to her fridge and having two gulps from the milk. While screwing the lid back on, he shrugged his shoulders loosely.
"Well... I'd say sensational." He smirked, putting the milk back and shutting the door. "Nah, she was alright. Good enough for a one night thing, I guess." He pulled himself up onto the counter and watched her before cocking his head. "So, what's up?"

Katia put it on and then went into the kitchen, where Alex was stood on his phone with a pretty confused look on his face. She raised an eyebrow and stood in front of him, her arms folded across her chest in a concerned sort of manner. She cocked her head and lifted her chin up a little, to gesture to him what's wrong?

Cara ran her hand through her hair, her fingers running from her fringe to the back of her head, pushing the hair from her face. She inhaled deeply and nodded her head.
"Erm, yeah. Meeting would be better, I can't... say it on the phone. Meet at the park in half an hour." She hung up the phone and threw it on the bed before retreating to the bathroom to wash her face. Her face was red, blotchy and sore from crying.

Auden shook her head, smiling a little at his answer. Grabbing a box of froot loops, she placed it on the kitchen table before grabbing the milk off of the shelf. "Hmm, I was thinking about going to the doctors...and seeing about something." She paused as she took a bowl and poured the cereal into it and adding the right balance of milk, "Have you spoken with Aislin yet?" She asked calmly hoping that he wouldn't lash out. While most of their conversations had been guided away from him and Aislin, she'd noticed a considerable change in his personality and had concluded that Aislin was the reason. "Don't be a dickhead...just answer the question." Taking a spoon from out of the drawer, she dug it in the bowl before taking her first bite of cereal.

Alex let out a sharp sigh after she'd hung up on him, he rested his chin in his fingers as he tried to come up with what could have happened. He'd almost forgotten about Katia's small gesture and he looked up at her wondering if he should tell her. Of course he should, this was his last chance and he wasn't going to ruin it by lying to her. "Uh, that was Cara. She was crying and she wanted to meet up with me at the park..." He bit his lip searching her face for some slight sign of anger. "Fuck, I don't know. Are you alright with us meeting?" He asked, his eyebrow raised.

Cole rolled his eyes as she changed the subject to him and Aislin. Sneaky. He shook his head but didn't say anything, reaching over to the box of fruit loops and digging his hand inside for a handful of them. He dropped them one by one into his mouth, sliding off the counter. He knew she wanted more but he didn't really want to delve into it. He was still in the whole act of not caring about her and after she blew him off that day on holiday, he hasn't mentioned doing anything like it again. He saw that as the end, the line in the sand for them.
"Now, back to you, missy. Seeing about what?" He finished eating the fruit loops and leaned back against the counter, his arms folded across his chest loosely.

Katia raised her eyebrows, her eyes dropping to the floor as she thought. Cara, wanting to meet Alex in the park, crying... What did she want from them now? She looked back up at him as he asked if it was alright with her. Her brow furrowed slightly as she nodded her head.
"Yeah, it's fine. I trust you so... yes." She looked over at the breakfast and exhaled quietly. "What do you think she wants?" There was a niggling feeling in her stomach and she knew it wasn't good. A small part of her was considering pregnancy as she looked at what was happening. Why else would she need Alex? She'd never met him before that one night and she trusted that Alex hadn't met up with her since.

Auden smiled when he didn't go into long detail over Aislin. Pulling her spoon up to her mouth, she ate another mouthful of the cereal before shifting her weight in her seat. She glanced over at Cole when he returned to the subject of her visiting a doctor. "I don't feel too well. Plus, I haven't been since way before we left for holiday. Makes sense to go." She nodded her head as she stared down into her cereal, moving the small loops about in her bowl. After finishing off the bowl, she stood and walked over to the sink where she began washing it.

Alex breathed in, the same thoughts that had ran across her mind were now entering his. But they quickly vanished from his list of possibilities. Considering the fact that there were on holiday and normally girls who weren't in relationships followed their birth control pills to a T, he felt it was somewhat improbable. Also he'd used protection and he doubted his luck would land him in the 2% range of condom failure. "I don't know. Maybe she wants to talk about you. See how you took things and if maybe you'd be willing to make up with her." He shrugged before standing from the sofa and going over to her. "I promise to tell you about whatever happens. I'm sure it's nothing big." He lifted her chin up using his forefinger and thumb before kissing her softly on the lips.

Cole nodded his head slowly, watching her.
"So, I'm guessing you want me to go doctors with you?" He raised his eyebrow, not really sure what was wrong with her. "What sort of unwell? Headache? Stomach ache?" Auden was the sort of person to power through an illness instead of faffing with doctors. Unless she was really worried about something or really unwell. He felt a bit concerned for her, especially since she was hesitating in saying what was up.

Katia nodded her head, hoping that that was all it was.
"Well, if that's the case, tell her to come see me and I'll... think about it." She rolled her eyes, letting him lift her chin and kiss her, pressing her lips softly back to his. Although Cara had not done anything wrong really, since she hadn't known Alex was her boyfriend, she'd found it more difficult to see her and forgive her. She tended to just develop a lot of images of them together whenever she even though about Cara. She just wanted to avoid her forever.

Auden placed the clean bowl onto the drying rack before grabbing the milk from off of the counter and placing it back into the fridge. "You can come if you want although, it's really not a big deal." Closing the door to the fridge, she turned slowly so that she was facing him. "Well, I have to see if I'm pregnant or not." She shrugged, letting the comment go as if it weren't a big thing at all. The last thing she needed was for someone else to make it into a much bigger deal then it was. Although she was pretty nervous about the whole thing she'd yet to take a pregnancy test and there was no need for getting worked up over nothing.

Alex nodded before letting her chin go and leaving her to return to their bedroom. Looking around in the wardrobe he figured a sweatshirt and a pair of jeans would do the trick. There was no reasoning behind getting dressed up just for Cara. He pulled out one of his favourite sweatshirts and slipped it over his head, not caring about wearing a shirt. He then put on some jeans and stepped into his trainers before walking out of he bedroom. "So, I'll see you in an hour then." He smiled at her before grabbing his keys and leaving out of the door. Getting into his car, he let out a sigh before starting it and heading over towards the park.
