After about fifteen minutes of Jeremy Kyle, he switched the telly off and drained the last bit of his tea. He hopped up the stairs two steps at a time and went straight to the bathroom, turning the water on in the shower. He undressed and climbed inside, bracing himself as the water always took a while to warm up. Why he never just waited, he wasn't sure. He tilted his head back against the water, washing it with shampoo. After all the daily business, he stepped out and turned it off. Pulling a towel off the radiator, he wrapped it around his waist and stepped out to go to his room. His mom was stood there in a dressing gown, her hair stuck up on end with one of the worst looks possible. She murmured something about 'dying for a piss' as she stumbled past him inside. He chuckled a little as he went to his room to change. After his dad left when Rudy was 5, it had always been just him and his mom, and sometimes the boyfriends that lasted a week. Rudy used to be quite the handful when he was younger and it never failed to drive them away.
Once inside his room, he dropped the towel and got changed. It was his usual outfit, just a polo shirt and a pair of jeans, rolled up a little at the ankle. He scrubbed at his hair with the towel before rubbing some product into it, just to create the bed head look. He was never that fussed about his appearance but he always pulled it off regardless. Once that was done, he grabbed his phone and iPod and headed out the house, pushing the earphones into his ears as the music played. He was planning on just walking past the new neighbours without any acknowledgment but then he was knocked in the leg with a rock.
Cole exhaled and turned back inside the house. They had been here for about an hour and already he was bored stiff. He kicked at the floor as he walked back through into the house. He paused at the stairs, not really sure where Callum had headed off to. He exhaled again before shouting, "Callum! Come on, we're going out!" He wasn't really sure where to or if there even was anything to do in this small town, but wherever Cole went, entertainment always followed. He stepped outside to the front of the house and grabbed his jacket from the car, that he'd left in there after their journey. He pulled it on, rolling up the sleeves to his elbow. His dad came back into view, talking to one of the movers who looked like he was ready to go. At least Cole had carried something in, Cal had done nothing. He tried to remain out of sight of his dad, who would probably throw up shit about them not helping and would try to stop them leaving. Cole knew that wouldn't work even if he tried, but it was still nicer and quieter if his dad remained in the dark about it. He glanced back into the house, waiting for Callum to show, as he hid around the back of the van. He wasn't even sure which way the town was. He looked over the road, as a boy about their age came walking down. He had earphones in but he knew that wasn't gonna stop him from talking. He picked up a small rock and threw it at the boy, where it hit him in the leg.
Sommy finished her breakfast and carried it back through to the kitchen, where she placed it on the counter to be washed up. She ignored their questions as they asked how it was and ran back upstairs to her bedroom. She'd just tell them she didn't hear them if they asked. Once in her room, she saw her phone lighting up on her bed and her heart skipped a beat in excitement. She knew who she wanted it to be but she sort of doubted it would be. She grinned brightly as she picked up the phone and saw the text off Colin. Pub wasn't exactly the place she'd imagine but it was still a start. She text back ":-) kwl" hesitating for a whole 30 seconds before actually hitting send. She felt quite sqiurmy and nervous, immediately regretting it. She knew she couldn't text back now and tell him no, but maybe she could wait til she was supposed to be there and then message saying her mom and dad stopped her? Which they probably would if she didn't think of an excuse to go out. She played around with her hair before looking into the mirror. She exhaled and rolled her eyes. No. She'd been waiting for this for three days and she wasn't about to let nerves stop her. She needed to change and sneak out though. She pulled off her parent approved outfit and threw them under the bed, before opening her wardrobe. Her new clothes were in a bag at the bottom of the wardrobe, nearly folded to stop creases. She got out a pair of tight light denim skinny jeans and a see through white jumper for over the top of her bra, which she changed into one of her newer ones. It wasn't lacy, just a plain white bra, but it did the job of lifting. She tucked in the jumper before doing her make up.
