tabitha lined up with the rest of the girls and once she had been assigned to her cabin, she joined the corresponding counsellor ready to take the girls to their 'home' for the next three weeks. all she could hope was that the girls she would be sharing with were up for as much rebellion and rule-breaking as she was. her contraband items hidden, she felt rather pleased that she had already, within minutes, broken one of the rules. as all of the girls had joined the counsellor, they led off towards 'oakwood cabin'. she followed at the back, surveying her new 'roomies'.
leon found his correct place and looked around, taking in his new surroundings and environment. he shrugged his shoulder, following the overly happy counsellor to 'pinewood cabin'. "what a stupid name!" he whispered to no-one in particular, as he softly shook his head. "pinewood cabin?" he repeated. oh well, he thought, let's hope the people are better than the naming!
mikey watched as a group of boys formed at his feet, his yellow foam finger back in the air. "right, this way guys!" he shouted, a large grin on his face. he jumped down from where he had been standing on a raised platform, and began to lead them to their cabin. whistling as he went, he left the boys to their own conversations, reasoning that it was best to let the settle down and get accustomed to the camp first. he was fully aware most of them didn't want to be there, and being a young-ish lad himself, knew that there was bound to be rule-breaking. something, he didn't much mind!

btw it's like a traditional american summer camp. big lake with inflatables, acres of wooded area, long walks, fire pits, massive 'mess tents' for meals, various communal areas etc.
cabins have 2 bunk beds, with another little sitting room area, and a joint bathroom.
