I am 90% muscle." he winked and licked his lips, scratching hi stomach, running a hand through his hair with his other hand. it was great how things had changed. he didn't feel the need to hate her. he felt the need to care for her. he liked that. it was what his life was aimed towards.

indy scrunched her nose up. "does that mean i'm the better between us?" she raised an eyebrow and took his hand, giving bryony a small smile. "hey." she said. she was going to be polite but bryony didn't seem like the type of person she wanted to be friends with. "yeah uhm.. we appreciate it if everyone chips in each month."

Bryony looked between the pair of them, "Sure. I'll go and start working, maybe I'll accidentally kill everyone while I'm there." she frowned, finding them both rather insulting in this moment. Taking the tray through and leaving the pair in the kitchen, "There you go." she smiled a little, handing him the tray.

Callum couldn't find the words to speak after her reaction, "Well.. uh.. " he scratched his head with his free hand. Looking down at Indy, "That wasn't how I wanted it to go." he laughed, slightly nervously before opening the fridge and pouring them both a glass of lemonade.

"really? don't worry about them for now. i'm not gonna let them just throw you out."

indy began chopping things up, humming to herself, tucking her hair behind her ears. "that's damn right. and she can go to hell!" she giggled, before realising she had said it rather loudly. "oops." she put all the things in a pan now and fried them up with some soy sauce.

Bryony rested her head comfortably against him when his arm went around her, "I'll eat you all up mr meat." she giggled a little, smiling when he said he wouldn't let them, "Thank you." she overheard Indy in the kitchen and it hurt her. Biting down on her lip she felt a little tear fill her eye.

Callum chuckled a little and shook his head, "You missy are going to cause trouble in this house if you aren't careful!" he smiled though, he would protect her from the.. mixed bread and the wolf. He didn't care if it killed him. He'd protect her.

"anyway, it's not like she's going to do anything to me. i'd kick her ass any day, right baby?" she raised an eyebrow, looking at him.

indy sipped her heart shaped straw and grinned to herself, pushing herself up onto the counter while she waited for their food to cook, crossing her legs at her ankles, raising both eyebrows at him. "would you fight for me then, cal?" she grinned cheesily, slurping her lemonade happily.
