Connor hadn't quite realised how bad this place looked, earlier on in the light it didn't look bad maybe more like a boarding school but at night it looked like a prison. "Yeah you really weren't kidding," he said with a slightly nervous laugh. The last thing he wanted to do was get Gabbie in trouble, especially at this place who knows what they could end up doing to her. "alright," he said following behind her and looking around cautiously. He couldn't hear anyone but angels were known for being incredibly quiet.

Gabbie paused and held her breath, her eyes scanning to him. "Hide, quick!" She pointed to a small cleaning supplied closet and opened the door, shoving him inside, he barely fit but it was better than him being seen. She hiccuped, giggling when one of the matrons walked along the corridor, stopping in front of Gabbie. "Gabriella what on earth are you doing out of bed." She took in a big sniff the smell of smoke from the pub was strong. "And where the hell have you been?" She hissed, pointing at her. "Its as if you don't want to be an angel, you really aren't taking this seriously are you." Gabbie held her hands in the air, giggling. "You've got me there, guilty as charged!"

Connor quickly dived into a cleaning cupboard, trying to hold his breath the best he could as he waited to find out what was happening outside. He could hear her getting in trouble and was practically holding his breath in.

Matron was fuming at the state that Gabbie was, this was worse than she could have expected, "You young lady need to go to your room now." she said, grabbing hold of Gabbie by the t-shirt and dragging her up to her room, tossing her inside. "and tomorrow, you are going to go through a vigorous cleansing"

Gabbie giggled softly but it was soon wiped from her lips as she was dragged to her room and she pouted. "Whatever.. she muttered. She really needed to get Connor out of that cupboard. That was all that was in her mind. The words the Matron was saying didn't really hit her, she just presumed she would be doing a little more scrubbing, not having her actual, soul cleansed. "Okay I will sleep it off, thank you matron." The old lady fumbled off down the corridor and Gabbie stuck her head out to make sure the coast was clear. "PPPPPSSSST." she whisper shouted, hoping Connor heard her.

Her eyes lingering on him as he took off his jacket, trying to decide what the best thing to say was but being slightly drunk didn't exactly help her case. Connor heard her being dragged off along the corridor and up the stairs and he was straining his ears to try and listen out for any sort of sign that the cost might be clear. After a while he heard the lady come back passed the cupboard he was hiding in and off into another room further along the hall, the moment he heard Gabbie call out he slowly opened the cupboard door, checking the cost was clear before silently running up the stairs three at a time. He was following Gabbie's scent which was stood out to him among the other angelic smells that roamed the halls and eventually he saw Gabbie peaking her head around the door and he snuck inside the room.

Gabbie rolled her eyes watching the woman walk off, this wasn't the person she usually was but it felt so good to be so carefree. She truly felt like she was finally living she life the way she was meant to. She grabbed his arm as soon as he was in reach and pulled him into her room, slamming the door shut behind her. The wildest grin in her lips as she gazed up at him. "Finally, you get to see my lovely prison cell." She teased, kissing him softly once before letting him go, sitting on the edge of her bed she unlaced her converse and kicked them off, lying her torso back on the bed. "That was close. I can't believe you almost got caught."

Connor was pulled into the room quickly and he found that he was speechless, the room was bare and very minimalistic and there was hardly any of her belongings to be seen. "Where's all your stuff?" he asked as he wondered around the room, his hand touching against the bare white desk before turning to look at her, "this place.. it just doesn't feel right." he admitted as he looked over towards Gabbie lying on the bed. "who would have guessed some angels are fucked up enough to come up with a place like this." and as he spoke he kicked off his own shoes and shoved his jacket over the desk chair.

It was sparse and didn't have a single ounce of Gabbie to it, it was just empty and it made her feel a little empty, too. "I know. They make it sound like a friendly haven but it's not. I hate it here and I haven't even spent a single night here. At least I have you by my side tonight to keep me warm." She smiled, sitting up porperly, letting the half up do her hair was in down, running her fingers through it. "I'm hoping I'm not here for too long.. I think I'll go mad."

Connor sat himself down on the edge of the bed, it was a white frame with white covers, sheets and pillows. Most of the room was white, and looked very sterile, how he imagined heaven probably was when you arrived at the gates. "I'm here to keep you safe," he said with a grin on his face, pulling her in close to him and planting a kiss onto her nose. "and I promise I won't let them keep you here too long, because I don't want you ending up having your personality wiped clean from doing a thousand hours of floor scrubbing." he joked, but it could be a possibility considering how her first few hours had been spent here.

I think I'd have been crying myself to sleep if you hadn't come to rescue me earlier." She said quietly picking at her nails as a distraction until he spoke again and she lifted her head, smiling up at him. But what he was saying hit some truth and she felt a little ache inside of her. What if they did cleanse her if all the bad that she had? That included her soul mate connection with Connor. "I don't want that to happen. That would mean you leaving my life." She frowned.

Connor slid his hand into hers as she sat up beside him, "I would hate for you to be alone here," he said softly, giving her hand a squeeze to comfort her a little more. He could feel her worry flowing through him and he pulled her in for a short hug, stroking her hair lightly, "we won't let that happen Gabbie, don't you worry." He lifted his head up, looking over at the door as he heard a click, had someone just locked her door from the outside? This place really was a prison. "looks like there's no sneaking out of here over night." he said quietly incase someone was outside.

Gabbie felt just a tad better when he squeezed her hand, even just being close to him made her feel more safe, he wasn't just her soul mate, someone she fancied. He was her protector and she put every ounce of her trust in him. "Good because I know I've only know you for a few days but I can't lose you." She leaned up and kissed his cheek, her hand under his chin, her thumb gently running over his bottom lip. "Oops, what a shame, you have to stay here all night now." She smiled, but kept her voice as low as she could.

"it feels like we have known each other for an eternity." he said with a small, low laugh, wanting to stay as quiet as possible. "well I don't know about you but if I'm staying the night I want to get comfortable, it is late after all." and with that he stood up and slipped out of his jeans and shirt before getting underneath the duvet, "now would you like to be the little spoon or the big spoon?"

Her eyes lifted as he stood up and she watched him undress, her eyes never leaving his body and she was a little stunned by just have handsome he was. Her eyes moved back tonhis face once he got back into bed and she tilted her head to the side. "Definitely the little spoon." She got up off the bed and slid out of her skirt and top, and threw her bra to the ground, quickly sliding in beside him with her back to him.

Connor averted his gaze, wanting to be respectful to her. They had a life time for him to be cheeky and he didn't think that now, in this creepy prison like nunnery was the best time for anything intimate like that. He lifted up the duvet for her to get under and she cuddled up against him instantly. "I was really hoping you'd say that," he whispered, pressing a kiss to her lips before she rolled onto her side. "hopefully they don't have some sort of morning ritual and burst through the door int he morning otherwise we are both going to be in some serious trouble."
