So she walked into the bathroom and picked up one of the tests, gripping onto it tightly before going back through to him and setting it down on the table. "That.. That's it." and quietly she said, "and it's yours" she lowered her body onto her bed. Feeling like jelly, she refused to be sick again. It was horrid enough once a day. Twice was pushing it.

Adam dumped his paper onto the top of the piano, along with his mug of coffee after a long gulp of the hot liquid. "I am stressed" he laughed a little, looking down at her, "how are you Though?" He walked around the room, setting up a CD player at the side of the room and searching through a pile of CDs for certain songs he remembered hearing from when he went to the school.

The record label won't want to sign me if I fail will they?" She shrugged, seinging her legs from the edge of the stage. At times like this, she was just glad she had such a magnificent teacher.

Bryony swallowed hard, watching him carefully. "Our baby.." She said softly to him, laughing weakly to try and shake off the nervous edge. "I havent touched a cigarette since I found out" she quickly rubbed the dripping tears from her eyes. "There's another test in the bathroom if you don't believe it" she pulled her legs up to her chest, hugging them. It was obvious how unwell she was, thinner then before.

Adam completely understood where she was coming from, heck exams were the most stressful thing he had ever gone through. "Have you seen some of the brats in the music industry? They can't tell left from right, hooked on drugs And can't count to twenty. You are a thousand times better then they are. " he moved over beside her and sat down. "Don't worry about this exam, because you are naturally gifted. You could pass it in your sleep!"

Evangeline sighed quietly. "I know but how silly will I look if I can't pass the one qualification I actually want a future in."She smiled sadly and looked up and him, biting her lip. He was so handaome, and talented, she sometimes wondered why the hell he had any interest in her at all. Running her hand up and down his leg slowly, placing a kiss on his cheek, Evangeline smiled. "Thank you Adam. I don't know what I'd do without you."

He chuckled very softly, "you would still be doing an absolutely amazing job!" he ruffled her hair a little.

"I do care, bryony, don't worry. i'm sorry for ignoring you these past couple of weeks but that night made things kind of awkward for me. i'm sorry for getting you into this situation and I will support you in any way you want me to be involved." he wiped her eyes with his thumbs. he cared. more than he wold ever admit.

evangeline blushed bright red. "i'm really not that talented, I have no idea why they would actually ever want to sign me. it's probably just cos i'm with you and you're frigging amazing adam." she laughed and kissed him once. "I would kind of be nothing without you to be honest." she cupped his face in her hands. "hmm, so what are we doing today anyway?" she raised an eyebrow, looking around the classroom.

Bryony felt the mention of 'that night' and his description of it slightly hurtful. Slowly she moved off his lap, sniffling a little now as she always did after crying. "yeah well.. now you can have that awkward feeling every time you see me." she looked down at the ground for a little bit before up at the time. "we have gym in twenty minutes.. don't want to make you late for that." she tried to force a smile but it failed.

Adam raised an eyebrow, "YOU are the reason we both go signed. your voice, your skills. it sold us." he looked down at her with his loving eyes, oh how he wanted to hold her forever and protect her from the cruelty of everyone else. "Well today, I thought we could do some practice on identifying instruments and techniques in modern day songs. To make it a tad mmore interesting."

"I wish I was. but no, it wouldn't be me who is the reason for this. you're the brilliant one with the guitar after all!" she laughed, watching as everyone came in. she slipped off the stage and went and sat down in her usual seat, criss crossing her legs over, she rested her hands in her lap. "I see. that sounds interesting. I think i'll be okay for tomorrow's exam, hopefully!" she pulled out her pa and pen.

evangeline was in a little world of her own now. things had somewhat become simpler since breaking up with james, though her love life was more complicated. plus hiding the fact she had a potential record deal in the bag, too. she wrote a couple of things down, humming to herself. the word exam echoing in her head, making a little lump form in her throat. she was terrified.

"Now that we have all that down, lets stick on some music and see if we can identify everything. But for this, I want you all to find a seat separate from everyone else. Space yourselves out, relax back in the seat and close your eyes. Really allow yourself to feel the music. I know, I know, I sound like a therapist! but once you can engage fully with the music, it will be easy to identify things within it. "

evangeline was in awe every single time he got so technical and professional, she loved it. she bit o the end of her pen and grinned, shaking her head to herself, taking it all in, making some final notes that would go towards revision for the exam. she glanced around the class and realised just how eager she must have seemed compared to everyone else, who seemed like they really could not care less.

evangeline kind of gazed at him, with her silly teenage googly eyes she had for him. she forever hoped he didn't think she was just some kid he could take advantage of. it scared her, that it could be a possibility. she slide down a little further in her seat and bit her lip, waiting for the music to play. immediately she recognised it, growing up with every single type of music possible. she scribbled down what instruments she knew were included immediately.

However knowing Bryony saw.

Adam watched peoples hands writing, some faster then others. Many people didn't seem to be understanding what to find and he knew this would be a long lesson, but when he noticed the speed Evangeline was writing he couldn't help but feel proud of her. Finally he paused the music, "now, who got more then one?"
