She hated this, this sudden uncertainty. They used to be so open to each other about everything and anything, much like best friends. Maybe he was cheating? Maybe he was choosing between her and someone else. Wouldn't be the first that Rowan was the second choice. Back in high school, she used to date a football player who had his fair share of other girls. But Sam didn't seem like the type, that's what drew her towards him. 

Dean was getting anxious to get there. His phone had died, which had resulted in him angrily tapping the screen. He had forgot to save the game and now, his life was basically meaningless. He stared into the void as he tried to collect himself.

Actually, the sudden realization of what he had just said to this stranger made his face a bit hot. He hurriedly looked away and began untangling the earbuds, trying his best to ignore that fact that he was, in fact, somewhat embarrassed.
