He walked back through to the forest area, where a lot of the older generation were already chatting, muttering about certain things, he heard his name mentioned a few times but all it did was make Dymitrius roll his eyes and he went into the cabin, holding the door open for Luna and taking a seat somewhat close to the head of the table.

gabbie grinned down at her phone, her fingertips were buzzing, even just texting this boy was exciting to her. She just hoped her mother wouldn't track her messages as she had a habit of doing. She didn't have a single ounce of trust for Gabriella which just made her want to act out more, even if it wasn't in her nature to be like that. Getting in trouble might just be worth it this time.. she replied, before wiping off her make up and then reapplying it, doing just a little bit of eyeshadow and then applying a plumping clear gloss to her lips. Wanting it to be effortless and at the same time make him know what he was going to miss once she was sent away.

Luna rolled her eyes, a common thing she seemed to do around D. Following someones lead had never been her best skill, she had always wanted to take charge but in this scenario it did seem like the right thing, "I suppose I will, this time." she said with a small smirk. Her arms felt cold against the night air but it was a simple enough fix with a smell to warm her body up until they reached the cabin. As she got inside she felt some of the eyes fall on her. There was a few of them that she could practically read their minds about what they were thinking of her, undressing her with their eyes. Yet it didn't bother her in the slightest and she sat herself down on the seat next to Dymitrius.

D looked down at his phone when it buzzed, who the hell was messaging him at this time of night? He didn't have any hook ups on the go, he was extra confused. Aaah, it was his brother wanting him to bail him out. For you to run off with some girl? Of course my dude, your secret is safe with me. His younger brother was his best friend, even when they bickered over stupid little things, nothing would ever come in between them. He crossed his arms loosely over his chest and sa back in the seat he was in, his eyes moving from his father, to the board behind him, and back to his father. Here it came, the big reveal, exactly what his intentions were and how their troublesome behaviour needed nipping in the bud. It was nice to have fresh meat at the meeting, Luna didn't know what she was in for.

Luna let her eyes run across all of the people in the room, recognising a few from earlier that day but the majority she had no clue who they were or what their roles were. Once Karl started speaking she turned her head to face him, wondering what was about to happen. Her grandma was sat in the corner of the room, away from the table and looked very stern, which was definitely not a good sign at all. Perhaps trying to take the blame off of Dymitrius was a bad decision after all.

D rolled his eyes and he could see his father ready to basically rip him apart at the seams, but it just didn't interest him, all this being nice and getting along, that wasn't what was going to get him to the top. But he had to do this for his sake and Luna's, he had to agree to the terms, otherwise the threat of being shunned forever would be on the cards.

Karl rested his hand on his sons shoulder and squeezed it tight. "That is why me and Elder Evelyn have had a chat, and we have come up with a solution. You two need to prove yourselves now, more than ever. You, my dear boy, you sa you're ready to be alpha, and you need to show it. Connor, he is younger than you and yet he is so much more head strong and tribe loyal, maybe you should take a leaf out of his book." He moved so that he was now behind Luna, and rested a hand on her shoulder. "And you, my dear, you grandmother may be giving up the role sooner than you think. It might be wise for you to consider your options together, before this gets too heavy to handle."

She addressed the room at large, having the tribes full respect and Karls permission prior to the meeting commencing she knew this would be okay, "It is true that I will be stepping down from my role as Elder for your tribe and while I have known many of you since you were very small I promise you that I have faith in my granddaughters abilities of performing well as my replacement. What happened this afternoon showed me that I no longer have the same nerve as I once did, unfortunately age has gotten the better of me. But, never the less, I have spoken with Karl and he has agreed to give Luna here a chance to earn this sacred position. So my dear, " she said, turning her head to Luna, "you will need to rise to the occasion and get a handle on yourself." She lowered herself back down to her seat.

Luna was practically shell shocked, this was all coming from nowhere and she wasn't entirely sure how to handle it, "I will improve, grandma." she said, but not in the confident way she usually spoke, there was a note of shock in her voice.

D felt ready to throw up, they weee all deciding the future for them and he wasn't ready to grow up, he was sure he had another few years ahead of him before he had to become real serious. He looked at Luna, connecting their minds, he narrowed his eyes slightly. Just follow my lead. I'm gonna make this better for the both of us. He pulled his mind back to the present and stood up from his seat, his hand taking a hold of hers very casual. "Well it's interesting that you say this, father, and Evelyn, and with the upmost respect, I'd like to let you know that me and Luna have already made a pact. She is going to be my companion, and she is going to protect me, and my tribe. When I become alpha, of course. Not if, when." The whole room fell to a dead silence and all eyes were on them again.

After a long pause he said, "This meeting is over."

Luna knew that werewolves could connect minds like that but to have it happen so suddenly made her jump just a little, but she tried to play it off as just moving in her chair. When he spoke she knew instantly that what he had done was make a seriously bold statement, and all she could do was nod her head in agreement before who she could only assume was the Alpha began speaking.

Gabriella had dressed in a small summer dressed that was white with small cherries all over it, with some white sandals and a small leather backpack on, and a white cardigan. Her mother had gone to bed around half an hour ago and gabbie had finally heard her bedroom lamp go off, this was her one and only chance to get out of the house, it was now or never. She picked up her white converse and slipped out of her bedroom door, and slipped along the hallway and down the stairs, her light footsteps not making a single peep, and she was out of the front door and down the path, and only then did she put her converse on and tie them up. Waiting patiently for Connor.

"this day has been absolutely mad, I need some air." she said before heading out of the cabin and walking away a bit, leaning herself against a nearby tree.

"We can't be too confident, I'm pretty sure my mother is asleep but then again who knows." She laughed quietly, dropping his handnshe pulled her phone out and turned it off, making it impossible for Hernandez mother to track her location.

"hopefully she is asleep for the night because I want to spend every last minute I can with you Gabbie." he smiled, heading through a narrow lane and in the direction of the lake as promised. "again, I'm sorry about earlier. no one could have predicted that whole mess happening."

Gabbie slipped a piece of gum into her mouth while they began to walk, she didn't know why but being around him was making her ehart beat faster and finally being able to see him in person was exactly what She had dreamed of. "You don't need to be sorry, it wasn't anyone's fault that it happened. Plus you protected me and my mother, she should be thankful you were there to help us." She laughed quietly, looking around them, tonfhr small area they were walking through, everything looked so much different at night time, it was a little scary for her. "I'm sad our friendship has to end so soon.. I enjoyed getting to know you today."

"see, the thing is I don't want our friendship to end. In fact I don't want you to go away at all." he hesitated, turning to look at her. "when you find out where you are going tell me and I'll follow.." he said, his voice very gentle, "only if you want me to of course.. it's just, I've spent today with you and I feel this connection to you that I've never felt with anyone else. It's like theres a magnet pulling me towards you."

Gabbie followed him down until they were in the verge of grass that was just above the lake that fell into a slope, and she sat down on the grass, tucking her dress underneath her to protect her bottom from the cold ground. "It's not just you, ever since I was little I've been taught that, after vampires, werewolves are the scariest beings of all." She kept their hands together, the feeling of their heartbeats had synced together, it was weird tingling in her body. "I would love that .. I mean, yeah.. but I don't know if you'd be allowed. It's a ladies only community to teach me how to be the perfect virgin angel." She sighed.
