Connor could hear voices but his body felt numb but after Luna filled his veins with magic he felt his strength return and his eyes flickered opened, "Gabbie.." he whispered, sitting up a little bit to look into her eyes and he reached his hand out and their fingers touched and the pain suddenly faded and he let his hand slide into hers and he sat himself up properly to pull her into a hug, "I'm so sorry, I thought I hurt you .. when I woke up I couldn't feel you at all."

But he pulled her in and she rested her head against his shoulderm her arms wrapping around his neck and she let out the biggest sigh. "I went back down to my father.. I didn't know what else to do.. but I couldn't feel you either. It seems our connection doesn't exist when I'm there."

Connor felt his heart ache a bit when she said she went to see her father instead of staying by his side. Was that how Gabbie would react whenever he needed her? "I see and did that help? Seeing him." he sighed a little and nodded, "suppose it makes sense since we aren't in the same realm it must block us. I'm just glad to see you." turning his head to look at his brother and Luna, "I owe you an apology Luna.. and thank you for healing me." looking at his brother he smiled weakly, "and you still owe me a very large pint." he said with a bit of a laugh.

She shook her head, lifting it back up to look at him properly. How could he be so forgiving after what she had caused, she was never going to forgive herself she knew that much. "Really? I thought you'd never want to see me again." She admitted, standing up from the floor she he,d her hand out to him and actually managed to pull him up. These powers were just getting ridiculous now.

Connor listened carefully to what Gabbie was saying and nodded his head slightly, "but how will you learn to control it if you don't try it?" he asked, genuinely a little unsure if that was the best way forward. "Don't be daft Gabbie I love you, yes a little bit hurt that I woke up here and you weren't by my side but I can't imagine how scared you were." he ran his fingers along her cheek slightly before pulling away as he was worried his hands felt horrible now while they healed. Looking back over at the other two he laughed, "yeah I guess I owe you." and he watched as they left the room together. He was thankful that Gabbie helped him up because he felt a bit sore and was in need of a lot of food and rest.

Gabbie knew he was right the gibberish that was coming out of her mouth didn't make sense but she wasn't going to use her powers, not for a while anyway. If she could cause damage to someone she loved, what else was she capable of? "I just didn't think you'd want to see me, is all. You looked really scared of me and you shouted at me.. I know it she my fault but still." She winced a little, her face was still sore from grazing it on the gravel but she sat next to him once he was on the bed again. "Wanna know a secret?" She smiled.

Lowering himself back down onto the hospital bed he took a deep breath and turned his head to look at Gabbie. She looked gorgeous even with the graze on her cheek and the sad look in her eyes, "In my defence the fire hurt like a bitch," he chuckled lightly as he wanted to ease some of the tension between them. "but I am sorry I shouted at you." he nodded his head, "of course I want to know a secret!"

Gabbie was glad Connor didn't reject her, she wasn't entirely sure what she would have done if he'd pushed her away again. But that would never happen, they were soul mates and she loved him far too much to ever let him go. "Yeah my father explained that.. it's like ten times worse than normal Fire. I guess I just got so stuck in my head. But I tried it when I was down there and I managed to control it." She looked down at her hands as if to warm them not to act up in front of him again. "Okay so I didn't just wanna leave your motorbike.. sooooo I may have tried to ride it back home. But I fell off it." He'd told her not to try it but it was the daredevil inside of her.

Connor let a smile fall on his lips as she said that she had managed to control it, "well I'm glad you were able to control it while there, perhaps being in hell would be a better training ground than earth," he chuckled lightly but fell quiet as she told him the secret and his jaw fell open a little and he couldn't help but laugh a little, "You tried to ride it?! With no lessons," he wrapped his arm around her and pulled her in for a hug, "that could have been dangerous but man you are one brave cookie."

She held her grazed hands up to him, before shuffling closer on the bed, wrapping an arm around his torso. "I'm just glad you're okay." She whispered, holding onto him tight and closing her eyes.

So much shit had gone on today and she couldn't wait to have a lie down and forget about it. "Yeah I don't understand that, I thought she was with that guy you punched." She shrugged.

Connor grinned when she said she wanted a proper lesson, "well once I've got my strength back I'll give you a crash course in how to drive it without falling off," sitting up again he looked at Gabbie, "can we get out of here? I really hate hospitals and I'm feeling better now I'm with you.. plus I kind of want to get some clothes." he said laughing. But he lowered his voice again, "we need to be careful around her, if she's playing my brother then he could be in trouble." He narrowed his eyes towards the door, not being able to hear their conversation, "maybe I'm just a protective brother but its in my nature."

"You know, I should have probbaky been scared when you were snarling and whatever but I wasn't.. is that weird?" She shrugged, tidying up the room a little bit from the carnage tha had been caused. "Yeah I agree.. I don't trust her, hoe can she be throwing us away one minute and be all over him the next."

Connor felt embarrassed about the state he had been in when in his wolf form, it was rare for him to lose control especially after years of training. "You should have been scared, I was. It's terrifying losing control of yourself like that and I could have hurt anyone.. but it was weird when you came in I could properly see you." he got off the bed and frowned at the state of his jeans but slipped them on regardless so he had a little dignity other than just his boxers. He also slid his phone into the pocket, "exactly it doesn't add up, but come on we will need to interrupt their conversation to get out of here." he said taking her hand and leaving the room.
