Dymitrius raised an eyebrow. "Luna healed you earlier, you'd still be in hospital if it wasn't for her and yet you're still doubting her intentions. You're a prick sometimes Connor." He chuckled, sipping his pint. He would probably order some food too but he wanted to wait for Luna in case she needed a bite to eat too. He lifted his phone and read it, it, his heart sinking slightly. It just didn't feel right and his heart was sinking lower and lower. "I'll be back in a second okay?" He slid out of the booth and outside, where he found her just about standing in her feet and he grasped a hold of her around her waist. "What happened?" He whispered, moving to a side wall so they didn't attract attention.

Gabbie felt his hand in hers again, she didn't like to ask for his attention too much in case he didn't like it but all she ever wanted to do was be close to him, even if that just meant holding hands for the rest of their life. "Why don't you get both? You've not had a proper meal all day, your body probably needs it." She added. She scanned thrihghbghr menu and everything seemed so unhealthy which was the complete opposite of what old to ever eat.. but that wasn't her now. "Hmm, maybe I'll have the fish and chips with some peas, that sounds nice." She smiled up at him, a big beaming smile.

Looking over at his brother as he checked his phone and he nodded, "alright bro," he watched as he went before looking back at Gabbie. "it's hard to not want to kiss you all the time you know," he whispered before pressing a quick kiss to her lips.

Gabbie grinned a little. "I've never had pub grub, I'm excited." There was still so many things in the world that she hadn't explored, so many little things that probably seemed insignificant to anyone else but to her, they were a big deal. She saw him lean in and her smile turned even soppier as she gazed up st him, his eyes were glowing the most wonderful golden colour and he didn't look like someone who only a few hours ago had suffering burns from the depths of hell. In fact, he looked like he was invincible. "Well I won't complain if you want to kiss me.." she gave him a couple of sweet small kisses, but a public display of affection definitely wasn't her thing.

Connor couldn't believe ho much Gabbie had been missing out on her whole life, it just blew his mind, "well you are going to enjoy it even more than the arcade food I would say," he chuckled. As he ran his hand along her cheek he wished they were alone in here so they could just enjoy each others company without the hassle of on lookers but he held himself back and just gave her a few kisses before leaning back in his seat. "You just make my heart race Gabbie it's ridiculous," he said with a laugh as he took a sip of his drink and glanced towards the door. "he better hurry up otherwise I'm ordering food without him."

Gabbie slapped her hands together. "Okay now I'm real excited, that arcade food was the best thing I've ever tasted. Maybe after eating this I'll wake up with a full head of black hair tomorrow." She joked, but of course, it could so easily be a reality, they wouldn't know. Instead of smooching him she simply shuffled herself in even closer to him so her leg was basically leaning against his, and she rested their hands in her lap, her free hand stroking over his fingers. "Why don't you just order something for them? They can have some sides or whatever and he can just share if she's hungry."

Connor chuckled at the thought of her with all black hair but she would look rather beautiful, though he thought that regardless of her hair colour he would find her beautiful. "You would suit black hair you know but I am really digging the half and half look." he slid his arm around her shoulders to hold her closer to him but as he felt his belly rumble he had to agree, "good plan and then they can just order something else if they want too." he pulled his phone out and loaded up the Wetherspoons app to order, adding what he wanted and then the fish and chips for Gabbie. Finally he picked out some cheesy nachos for his brother and hit order.

Gabbie ran her fingers through her hair self consciously. "I've always wanted my white angel hair, I just thought it would be what would suit me the most. But I'm really starting to love this black colour, it kind of just matches the rest of me." She shrugged. Maybe she would start being adventurous with her clothes, and wearing darker things. "Exactly, it's not like they're rushed off their feet in here, they have time to make us some food." She smiled, resting her arms on the sticky table in front of her.

Once he had finished ordering food he looked back over at the door and frowned, "he better not have bailed on us to go and be a hero or some shit." he said as he put his phone down and leaned back in his seat, taking another swig of his drink as he closed his eyes. "I can't wait to cuddle up with you in bed tonight, I'm just exhausted."

"I doubt it, I don't think he did do thatbwhen he owed you a pint and an explanation." She shrugged, turning her head to gaze up at him while he closed her eyes. "That sounds like the best idea you've ever had."

Connor thought about this and half blonde would definitely be hot as well but he tried to pull his mind out of fantasy land so he could focus on her here and now, "hopefully tomorrow we can just have a nice normal day." he joked but his attention shifted to the waiter as he came over with the food. "cheers," he said with a grin as the food was put down in front of him and picked up his cutlery to start digging in as his belly rumbled. "maybe we can have a nice long lie in before doing whatever the hell we end up doing." he chuckled as he shoved a fork full of chips into his mouth and began cutting his steak.

Gabbie nodded in agreement, letting go of his hand so he could dig into his dinner, he probably looked really greedy having two meals but she knew he definitely deserved it. She picked up her knife and fork and began eating, her eyes widening at just his delicious it was. "I know, I just want one day where we can laze about and just .. well.. be in love." She chuckled, eating away at her dinner, but she didn't reach her hand over to his plate to pinch an onion ring because it just looked so greasy and tasty and she was right, it was. "Do you reckon you could teach me that whole talking into your mind thing tomorrow?"

Connor was devouring his food, the amount his body had gone through today he needed to recharge and greasy pub food was definitely the answer to his prayers. He watched as her hand snuck over to his plate and stole an onion ring and he looked over to watch her reaction as she took her first bite of it, "they are food right?" he said with a smirk before taking a big bite of a sausage. "Yeah I think that would be a good thing for us to do, that way if we ever get in trouble we can always have that clear line of communication.. speaking of where the hell is my brother." He focused his own mind and spoke through to Dymitrius, Mate have you fallen asleep on the shitter or something?

Gabbie was glad he didn't shout at her when she stole some food and she nodded. "Uh huh, the onion is a bit spicy though.. " she realised she probably sounded ridiculous and she just stuck tonher fish and chips, putting her fork down and really getting involved with her hands instead, it just seemed more satisfying. "Exactly, like earlier.. I feel like it would have made it much easier but I dunno.. I guess it's just another way for me to feel closer to you still." She finished off all her chips and most of her fish, sitting back when she was done. "That was really delicious." She finished off her drink too.

"It'll feel weird for you at first but once you get into the swing of things it can be our secret way of communicating. Which will definitely come in handy if your mum and brother keep cornering me in the mornings." he said with a laugh but he lifted his head when his brother came back into the pub with Luna who stopped at the bar first.

That dinner last night is about as adventurous as my food choices have ever been." She stuck her tongue out st him, patting his belly gently. "Are you finally full up now? I thought you might eat the table itself you were that hungry." She teased him back, leaning her elbow in the sticky table, smiling when she saw his brother and Luna and giving them a little wave, trying to be the nicen person that she was. "Can I send you nudes through the mind?" She teased.
