daniel held onto her hand tightly as she said it, and kept looking at them. they seemed disappointed but they didn't say much, just simply stared at him angrily. he looked down and kissed the top of her head, sighing quietly. he didn't know what to do, he didn't want to annoy them even more but he didn't want to let them just get super mad at her.

 

jesse smiled a little bit when he got into the car. she leaned over and kissed his cheek. "thanks for being nice to me. i've been feeling really shit lately." she shrugged and then put her seat belt on, pulling her hood up. she leaned back in her seat and yawned, rubbing her stomach softly. "so you really want this baby, yeah?"

daniel glared at his dad but stayed quiet because he knew that it would just anger her dad more. he ran his fingers through his hair and looked at rosalie, cupping her face in his hands. "it will be okay." rosalie's dad, george, glared at rosalie. "you're a disappointment to this family, and what you have done is truly disgusting. you have ruined your life and our life too. now leave." he glared at her, pointing her to the direction of the door. "and never come back."

 

jesse sighed a little bit. "cole stop babying me, it's not like i'm not capable. I just want to be normal, stop carrying me everywhere." she got down from his arms once they were in his house, and finally she took her hoody off, that she had been wearing all day. underneath, she had a baby bump protruding from her top. she sighed a little bit, she was totally embarrassed about it. she looked down, awkwardly standing there for a little while.

daniel walked after her but grabbed her hand quickly to stop her. "get your stuff, so we don't have to come back. I don't want them speaking to you like that every again or they're going to have me to deal with." he raised an eyebrow as he looked down at her, pressing a kiss to her forehead. "packs some bags, get the main stuff. I can always buy you things you need." he took her hand and went upstairs with her.

 

jesse shrugged. "just stop treating me like i'm a kid, it makes me feel even more pathetic than I already am." she sighed and followed him into the kitchen. "no thank you. but a cup of tea would be good." she sat down at the table and leaned back, letting out a sigh as she tipped her head back, closing her eyes and yawning. being pregnant was hard work for someone who as so petite.

daniel shrugged his shoulders. "if they're going to act like that maybe it's best they're not involved. we are going to be the best parents we can be, rosalie and that's all that matters." he smiled and helped her with some of the stuff. "if you need anything else I can just buy it for you okay?" he took her suitcase and then her hand and walked back downstairs. he nodded once at her parents and then walked out.

 

jesse took her cup of tea once he had made it and held it between her hands to warm them up. "uh yeah, uhm.." she put her cup down then got up and got her school bag. she got out her purse and walked back to him. she stood next to him and got the photo out, from the scans she had had. she passed them to him and smiled a little. "there we go.. the second one was from a couple of weeks ago."

daniel nodded. he understood that she wanted to be independent. "but with the baby you'll be on maternity leave. and we should at last share the cots, we are a couple now and i'm not going to make you do everything, what kind of boyfriend would I be if that happened?" he smiled and wrapped his arms around her, kissing her head. "i'm not going anywhere, rosalie." he sighed a little bit and held her close to him.

 

jesse glanced up at him, shrugging. "i'm glad you're happy. I was scared I was going to fuck your life up. that's why I never bothered telling you in the first place. but it makes me glad that you care." she smiled a little bit and took the scan photos, putting them away in her purse again. "my next scan is next friday, you're more than welcome to come with me."

daniel smiled and nodded. "to me you're not my student. you're the hot girl I fell in love with on holiday and I just so happen to teach her. it doesn't make a difference to me, I still love you regardless and age is just a number, isn't it?" he kissed her cheek and got in the car, putting his seat belt on. "we'll just get on with it. no one needs to know anything." he smiled a little bit and started the car up.

 

jesse sat back down on the table, tilting her head to the side as she thought about it. "I dunno. i've kind of been denying the fact i'm having a baby, even though i've already seen the scans. but I guess a little girl would be kind of sweet." she smiled and sipped her cup of tea, resting the cup on her thigh as she looked over at him.

daniel glanced at her as he drove. "it's so weird that it was your school I ended up at, out of all the others it could have been. how bizarre. oh well." he grinned and rested a hand on her stomach, the other still on the steering wheel. "i've always wanted kids. I was never the ladies man type, i've always just wanted to be a loving partner and father. I think it's the best thing a man can be, personally." he smiled a little, driving back to his house.

 

jesse blushed a little bit, getting butterflies in her stomach again. he made her feel so young and girly and crazy, like she used to in y9 when she would fancy boys in y11. she shook her head, rubbing the back of her neck. "uhm, would you really want me here? my parents are being supportive so it's not like I have to, if you want to keep things the way they are." she smiled a little, just thinking about him. she had no idea how he really felt about things.

jesse smiled a little bit and moved a little closer to him. "I didn't realise you actually loved me, cole.. that's weird, to hear a guy say that. most guys just want sex and then we're done." she pulled her sleeves over her hands. she didn't know what to do, it was the first time she had ever been in love. "I love you as well cole. but uhm, it's really scary." she bit her lip. "i've never been in an actual relationship before."

 

daniel smiled at her and parked up outside of his house. "well I like to think i'm a decent guy, I don't see the need in treating people like shit." he got out and got out her suitcase. "so do you want to share a bed with me? or you can have your own." he smiled and unlocked his door, going inside. he put her bag down on the ground for now and then went into the kitchen, turning the kettle on. "mannn I need a coffee!"
