Cole shrugged his shoulders, looking in the cabinet above their heads that were part glass, looking at the reflection of his face.
"Yeah, I guess. My nose was broke though and I've still got the scar on my lip." He looked back down at her, pointing to his top lip that was dented with a deep scar, where his lip had been burst open. He shrugged his shoulders again and followed her gaze to the group of kids, his eyebrow raising as he saw them choking on the cigarettes. First timers then. He looked back to Aislin and nudged his head toward the door, where she had left Max."So, you and Max?"

TJ smiled a little, really out of pure nervousness, as she opened the door and he stepped inside. He followed her to the sofa and sat down, glancing around the place. It was weird being sat here like a stranger when this used to be the place he'd sleep at nearly every night. He knew this place like the back of his hand, yet he didn't even feel welcome. He looked back at Auden, as neither a word was said by either of them.
"I think you know why I'm here. Cole told me and..." His brow furrowed as he stared at her. "Are you pregnant?"

Aislin peeled her eyes away from the group to see the scars he'd mentioned. She squinted, pretending that the scar was too small to notice. She touched it with her thumb before pouting. "Aw, you poor baby." She dropped her finger away from his face before turning around and pushing herself up onto the counter. She crossed her feet at the ankles before taking her glass and looking back at him, smirking when he mentioned Max. Aislin had known about the friendship between Cole and Max but she didn't feel the need to get into the details of her dating him. Especially with Cole."Yep." She said simply before taking a sip and keeping her eyes on him. "So, you and the blonde? She's cute." She swayed her legs back and forth as they dangled down.

Once he'd gotten the words out, Auden looked away from him and kept her eyes on the television. She silently cursed Cole in her head, wishing he'd go prematurely bald or that he'd be mugged. She mentally wrote a reminder to chew him out later on the phone. She sighed as she pulled her feet up onto the sofa and wrapped her arms around them, shifting uncomfortably as she felt him staring at her. "I took a test and it was..." She paused, her eyes falling to the frayed bits in her leggings, "positive. I'm going to get a full test from the doctor tomorrow and if it turns out that I am then..I don't want you to think that you're obligated to be there for it or anything." She asked as her shoulders fell.

Cole felt like rolling his eyes as as she squinted at the scar, feeling patronised. All was forgiven, however, when she reached up to touch it with her thumb. She hadn't touched him in God knows how long and he was pretty ashamed to admit how much he liked it, despite how brief and small the gesture was. He picked up his drink and had two big gulps, trying to distract himself as his cheeks became a light pink. He raised his eyebrow when she didn't go into it, only answering it with one word.
"That's it?" He paused and then rolled his eyes, looking away to the group. When she asked him the same question, he looked at her and smirked a little. "Yep."

TJ watched her closely as she spoke. She didn't look at him once, keeping her eyes on the frayed bits of her leggings, anything but his eyes. He shook his head and rolled his eyes, as if she were silly.
"Of course I'd be there. I want to be." He paused as he thought of the next question. It was a big one and he wasn't even sure how she was going to react but, at the same time, it was only fair of him to ask it. "Do you know who's it is?"

Aislin picked up on the faint reddening of his cheeks but didn't dwell on it too much, instead she attributed it to the fact that he was drinking. "What more is there to say? He's a good guy and he's...good in the sack." She smirked at how half of the sentence was actually a lie but he didn't need to know that. She shook her head and rolled her eyes as a response to him giving the same answer. "That's it?" She asked with a shocked face. She laughed before, moving herself on the counter since her butt had started to go numb. "So, where have you been? We get back home from holiday and suddenly there's no more Cole. It was too much to handle." She nodded her head, pretending that she hadn't been avoiding him.

Auden sighed when he asked the single question she'd hoped he wouldn't. Even when she thought on the question herself she couldn't help but feel like a bit of a slag. She felt as if he already had the answer to his question. If it were his, then she would've called him and told him and if it belonged to Cole, she probably wouldn't have told him out of shame. Part of her wanted lash out and tell him not ask those kinds of questions, yet it wasn't his fault that he had to. She'd been the one to cheat. "No. That's the worst part of all this."

Cole looked at her, his eyebrow raised slightly.
"Just 'good'?" He quipped back, smirking a little. "Well, at least I know now who gave you the better sex." He shrugged his shoulders and had another drink. The comment had knocked him back but he was determined not to show it, he was trying to stay careless, even though she meant so much to him. He shrugged his shoulders as she asked where he had been since the holiday. Thanks to gossipy friends, he knew exactly what she'd been doing. Well, who she'd been doing. "Well, you were pretty pissed at me on holiday so when we came back I thought I'd give you space. You can't have been as hurt as I thought, considering how quickly little Maxxie came along."

TJ nodded slowly and turned to face forward, resting his head back against the sofa. He closed his eyes as he collected his thoughts, his jaw clenched with a deep frown. After a couple seconds of silence, he finally spoke.
"I knew that was the answer. I just needed to hear it from you." He exhaled, opened his eyes and lifted his head. He ran both hands over his head and then back again, so they were rested just above the start of his forehead. He glanced across at her. "How are you feeling about it all?"

Aislin smirked as she tilted her head to the side. "Well, you were just okay." Aislin leant back on the counter as she started to feel slightly buzzed. She shook her head as she recalled how she'd been angry about him sleeping with Auden. "I'm sorry about that, I was stupid...really stupid." She shrugged before looking over at the bottle, questioning whether or not she should make another drink for herself. "Well, I have Max and you have Auden, so I guess things worked out fine. Or did that ship sink?" The last she'd talked with TJ he'd made it out almost as if Cole and Auden were dating. She smirked just at the thought of them together.

Auden studied her fingers a little as she thought on his question. Auden had never quite given thought to the idea of marriage nor mothering but assuming from the way she'd be raised she doubted she'd suck in both of those. "I don't know. I guess I'm afraid more so for the kid than myself. If it turns out to be his then, I'd feel even more afraid. He can be good at times, but he's irresponsible and I'd never want a kid with him. Then there's you, and I'd just feel worse about it because of everything that's happened." She finally brought her eyes to him. "So, what do you think about it?"

Cole raised his eyebrows and scoffed.
"That ship never even sailed. Who told you that?" He figured it was probably TJ and who could blame him considering what had happened? He shook his head, the laugh still present on his lips as he had another drink. He looked down at her, his eyes moving across her face. He was feeling the beginning effects of drink, he felt much lighter and sillier. "You weren't stupid either. I messed you around and it wasn't fair." He looked away as he had another gulp of the drink, shrugging his shoulders. It was tough for him to be sincere regardless but the drink wasn't helping. He wanted to apologize but his pride held him back.

TJ looked at her for a couple seconds before shaking his head slowly.
"Honestly, no idea." He rubbed his forehead gently, he was starting to get a headache and he knew it was just down to the stress from fretting about it all day. Now it was finally cleared up, the stress appeared to be getting worse. He had cleared one question and in doing so had caused a million others to spring up. He shrugged his shoulders eventually. "We'll get you to the doctor tomorrow, we can confirm it and then go from there. I'll be there though, if you want me to." He glanced across at her. "But if I'm there, Cole isn't."

Aislin ignored his question since she wouldn't tell about TJ. raised her eyebrows as she listened to him clear up whatever it was that had happened. While there wasn't an apology attached to the end of it, she didn't give to much thought into it. It was very rare for Cole to admit to anything, so she took it for what it was. "Aw Cole, you're maturing. I can't believe this." She said as she reached up and pinched his cheek. She let his cheek go after she noticed she'd held it for some time. She smirked before turning and taking her glass, filling it once again. "But whatever, it's all in the past, right?"

Auden rolled her eyes when he said that Cole couldn't go if he went. She had mixed feelings about the whole thing, while a part of her did want support from someone the last thing she wanted was having them both there and having to find out after nine months which one was the father. But it made her feel slightly happy that TJ wanted to be there for her so she figured she could do it. "Yeah, I want you to be there. I'll just tell him he can't come. Although I doubt he wants to anyway, I think he's a little pissed." She shrugged.

Cole grinned a little and rolled his eyes as she pinched his cheek. She held it there for some time, as they looked at each other, but just as Cole leaned down in the spur of the moment for a kiss, she turned to fix a drink. He blinked and straightened up quickly, shaking his head. He drained the drink in one go, just as it popped into his head that maybe it was a good time to stop. He heard her speak, but he was so lost in his actions and the fact that she hadn't noticed, he didn't even hear her. He raised his eyebrows.
"What, sorry?"

TJ raised his eyebrow, his head cocking to the side a little.
"Why?" Now that she had mentioned it, he thought back to when he saw him leave the house and he did look pissed. One of the reasons why he had believed him in the first place.
He was pleased that Auden had said she wanted him there and that Cole shouldn't be there at all. It was only right, Auden was his girlfriend so Cole shouldn't have anything to do with it. He hadn't even started to forgive him so the idea of Cole being around really grated on him.

Aislin turned back once she'd finished fixing her drink, letting out a small giggle when he asked what she'd said. "How many drinks have you had?" She asked raising her eyebrow before sipping down some of her drink. She glanced through the door where the crowd had gotten slightly more thicker causing her to frown as she thought about the struggle she'd have to go through by trying to get through. After hearing some giggling, she turned to look over her shoulder, finding the group pretending to be too high to stand. She smirked, shaking her head at just how stupid they were. "Do you think if we go outside and have a smoke your little blonde friend will miss you? My ass feels numb from this counter." She frowned.

Auden shook her head, not wanting to go into details. Although the reason behind everything had to deal with exactly what they'd just talked about, she thought it'd be best to keep things light between them. She looked over at him, pausing for a moment as her eyes took in every bit of him. She had no idea what they were and she found herself wanting to ask but being afraid to. She bit her lip as she let out a small sigh. "Nothing really. I was just being a bitch." She shrugged slowly. "Hypothetically speaking, if I were pregnant and it was yours what would you want?"

Cole nearly sighed with relief when she confirmed that she hadn't noticed and he let out a small laugh, shaking his head.
"Surprisingly, not that much!" He moved his arm around her to get a bottle and poured himself another glass of some shit mix. He put it back on the side and rolled his eyes at her questions. "Of course she'll miss me." He had a drink as he walked out the kitchen, glancing at the group of 'high' kids and he smirked at them. Idiots, he thought.
They managed to duck through the crowd without getting seen by either Max or the blonde, a pretty incredible feat although the crowd was getting pretty thick. He got out his cigarettes and got one for himself, sticking it between his lips as he offered the box to Aislin for her to take one.

TJ nodded slowly, his brow furrowed a little. They were probably still fucking, or even worse, they were together. She was probably protecting him or defending him from whatever shit he'd said. He couldn't imagine Cole being relaxed or helpful in a situation like this one. He was the type to run and create a human shaped hole in the wall at even the mention of 'baby'. He heard the question and he glanced at her, breaking his chain of thought. He smiled a little and shrugged his shoulders.
"I wouldn't mind. A girl I could just spoil to pieces and a boy I could teach football and boxing and..." He pursed his lips and reached up to rub the back of his neck. The situation wasn't the best and although a small part of him was excited, he always had the thought in the back of his head that it could be Cole's.

Aislin pulled a cigarette from the box before holding it between her lips and waiting for him to light it. She gave him a courtesy nod as she took a steady drag from the cigarette, leaning a little against the wall. As she released her breath, she watched as the smoke was carried off by the breeze disappearing in a mere couple of seconds. It was weird, but she always found the outside of parties to be the best. The faint sound of the music pumping from the inside and the laughter from the few people outside suited her more rather than constant grinding and having drinks spilled on you. Realizing she'd taken her glass outside with her, she took a gulp before looking up at him. She glanced over at him and smiled. "I'm glad you're here otherwise I'd be stuck in there."

Auden listened to him as he explained what he thought, swallowing hard when it seemed that he'd want to keep it. She shook her head at just how easy he'd made it sound. After being with him for so long it was easy to read him. She knew just about everything about him from the way that he tended to rub the back of his neck when he was nervous down to his thoughts and worries. She knew that he had his doubts about her and Cole especially since she hadn't answered his question fully. "I swear he's just a friend. When we split, I didn't really have anyone to go to and he was there. But we haven't done anything and we won't be doing anything." She didn't know why she felt the need to explain, but she couldn't have him continue thinking that she'd ran off with Cole after things had ended between them.

Cole sparked up a flame and held it to hers to light it before lighting his own. He took a long drag as it lit, pushing the lighter back in his pocket as he exhaled the smoke. He knew it was a disgusting habit but smoking for him was a release. He tended to exhale a lot of his troubles along with the smoke. It was the reason he had taken it up so young and continued it. He leaned back against the wall of the house, listening to the music and the occasional shouts from the people inside. He smiled a little at her and shook his head.
"I'm surprised Max isn't out here with you. He always used to follow his girlfriends like a little puppy dog." He rolled his eyes, inhaling on the cigarette. "It was pretty pathetic."

TJ glanced at her and his eyebrows raised a little when she brought up her and Cole. It was unexpected but he was glad she had said it. She would have just kept quiet if it hadn't been true. He nodded and smiled a little.
"Good." He glanced down at his hands, intertwined in his lap as he thought about what he'd said about the baby. He was really aware of how he was coming off to her and it was Auden so her opinion mattered. He didn't want her to feel forced into anything when it came to this. At the end of the day, she would be the one carrying the child and everything. He looked at her and paused to clear his throat. "If you are definitely pregnant... will you keep it or?"

Aislin pushed him playfully when he brought up Max. It was true, she'd noticed it the second week of being with him when he refused to leave her side. At first she'd thought it was cute but she found it to be somewhat annoying the third week around. "He's just...protective. I just got up and left, because I felt he'd follow. He makes me feel guilty sometimes. Almost like he's holding back from having fun just to sit around with me. But, I should probably be thankful since there's a million girls in the world who'd die for that." She scrunched her nose at the idea as she brought her cigarette back to her lips and took another drag.

Auden scratched her nose as she thought over what it was that she wanted to do. "I don't know. I have nothing against abortion but it's just so final. What if one day I wake up and want the baby and I can't because I've gotten rid of it." She chewed on her lip as she continued to dwell on the idea of abortion. "Babies are great but I just don't know if I'm fit to have one...yet. Let's just get through tomorrow and...decide then."

Cole wrinkled his nose and shook his head.
"If that's what girls want, I'm screwed." He smirked, watching her. He puffed on the cigarette as he looked at her. "So, what's the attraction for him then? Why are you actually together?" He raised an eyebrow. He knew it was probably crossing a line but he was curious. And jealous. He just wanted to understand why him, and not Cole?

TJ nodded in agreement. He understood where she was coming from and he did agree, but a part of him felt like he was going to be upset if she was pregnant and then aborted it. He saw it as their child and he wouldn't enjoy losing it. He slapped his hands down on his knees and glanced toward the clock on the wall.
"Well, I guess I should probably go now..." He reluctantly stood, patting down his pockets to check he had his things as he walked toward the door.
