Adam looked at her in the way that made him seem he was working out a long maths puzzle. "It wasn't your fault" he said finally. "It was his. Whoever he was. He did that. You didn't." he looked towards the door and smiled a little, "the love bugs are back huh. Long time no see."

Adam grinned brightly, "since you are offering i would love one Brent. I've not eaten since Daisy's horrid burnt toast" he looked back at the tv and and lexi "well I never really paid attention to Beyoncé. I've never been big on celebrity people. I apologise. The most I know is Frankie Boyle."

Adam tucked into his food out of the packaging it came in. He couldn't bear the thought if extra dishes for someone else to do. he changed the channel over to some lame movie he had no interest in before pushing it over to Lexi for her to pick. Making that "nothing on the tv for me" shrug.
