But he could feel that pang of fear she was having and he wanted to do everything in his power to reassure you. "I promise you this is going to be okay. You're going to be safe with me, Luna." His voice was as low and as calm as he could get it. His eyes drifted to the cell and he let out a laugh. "I think my big body would take up the whole thing. Shall we go and investigate our new home?" He asked, excited.

Gabbie nodded her head at Sasha. "I know, it will be okay. Just make sure Shaun is safe and don't do anything stupid okay?" She called after her. Her chest was hurting end she felt slightly deflated as she turned to Connor, shrugging, his hand in hers was a nice comfort blanket for her, and she stepped closer to him, resting her other hand over his chest, smiling at the feeling of his heart beating hard. "Sasha made a deal with my father. He gave her the ring to give to D and in exchange, she promised to make my powers show. That's why she got me so drunk last night, it was all her fault. My best friend betrayed me." She said sadly. "I'll forgive her eventually. But it doesn't make it right."

Connor had to look down to speak to Gabbie, she was so small and petite compared to his tall werewolf body. He was at least 6ft3 but was the shortest of the brothers, which D reminded him of often, but Connor always blamed it on not having the alpha gene in his body but that was just an excuse. Lifting his spare hand he ran his hand across her cheek and moved loose strands of hair behind her ear as she spoke. Taking a deep breath in he felt disgusted at Sasha, "How fucking dare she treat the two people I love like they are pawns for her to use," he let out a low protective growl. "You are far too kind Gabbie but she has a lot of making up to do before you get there." Pressing a kiss to her forehead he held her close his body for a few minutes as people passed them as they left the cabin. Eventually he picked up his brothers scent and turned to look at the pair of them, chuckling at the mention of how bad he looked after returning from hell, "Come on it took a lot out of me!" he shook his head as he spoke.

Gabbie loved the height and size difference between them, they were like little and large, and having Connor around her made her feel safe always. Physically and emotionally. Her hand came up to pat his chest gently shaking her head. But that growl, though it was an angry one, it made her feel some kind of way inside and she smiled up at him. "Hey, I know. I guess she has her reasons for it, I think she really loved your brother and she just wanted him to feel the same way." But even Gabbie could see his wrong it was and she had a feeling sooner or later Sasha would get shunned from the tribe. She turned her head when she heard Luna and smiled. She wasn't so bad, she was just misunderstood. "Thank you. And thank you for helping him, I know you two aren't exactly besties." She raised her eyebrows, laughing when they exposed Connor. "Aww baby were you scared?" She teased.

Maybe Gabbie was right, maybe Sasha really did love Connors brother but that didn't give her the right to trick him into feeling the way he did. He wouldn't forget the desperation on his brothers face before the girls went on that night out and how he looked like he was struggling to see her go out. Snapping back to reality he let them all mock him and he rolled his eyes, "ha ha bloody ha! You are all so funny. I won't even admit what spooky mind games your dad played but it was enough for the two of us to end our meeting short." he chuckled but nodded at his brothers comment, "I look forward to it, we have a lot to prepare for." he gave them a wave before looking back down at Gabbie, "lucky shits getting a home built for them the moment they get together," he teased before beginning the short walk home with Gabbie. "but I think she might actually be good for him .. they sort of suit each other don't you think?"

He paused just before they got to the door and picked her up, bridal style, unlocking the door and pushing it open. "We're home." He whispered, kissing her once as he walked through.

Gabbie was understanding Luna a little bit more, she would have been the same if she had to fight for Connors attention, it was just hard to see her friend get crushed in the process. "It's okay, Sasha is tough, she will work something out. See you later!" She called, waving them off and then looking up st Connor, grinning. "What exactly didnmy father do to you, Connor?" She giggled, walking back slowly with him. The nightnwas cool but even just being stood next to Connor she could feel the warmth radiating from his body. "Oh yeah, they're both trouble makers but even I can see his much they love each other. And I don't think he would have imprinted if he didn't mean it, he doesn't seem like the kind that would do it for any old reason." She shrugged, unlocking their front door and slipping inside.

"He um.. fuck its kind of embarrassing but he did this thing where he could see all of my intentions with you and I mean all of them." his cheeks went a slight pink but he refused to look into Gabbies eyes. Keeping his arm around Gabbie so that she was warm he was thankful they didn't live too far because her body felt cold but no wonder she was only wearing a cute little co-ord. "No, D always said he wouldn't imprint so that was a serious surprise but then again he also started a war. Things never seem to be simple," he said with a chuckle as they got the door unlocked and headed inside. Once the door was locked he kicked off his shoes and headed into the kitchen to get himself a beer, "do you want anything to drink? there's still some raspberry lemonade in here" he called through to Gabbie.

Gabbie grinned as she listened to him. She didn't know exactly what her father was capable of but hearing ehatbhed done to Connor, she had a rather goofy grin on her face as he spoke. "Oh, everything huh? Every dirty little intention you have?" She teased him, squeezing his hand to let him know that it really was okay and that she definitely wasn't judging him for it. She slid inside and kicked her converse off, padding into the kitchen after him, clapping her hands together. "Yes please!" She said, a little more excited than she should have been but thensugsr rush from raspberry lemonade felt like exactly what she wanted to really shove the lingering bit of hangover she was still experiencing. "Does that mean you'll have to battle? I don't want you to get hurt." She admitted, pushing herself up onto a bar stool.

He uncapped his beer before taking out the last remaining glass bottle of lemonade and uncapped it as well but for Gabbie he poured it into a clean glass and added a few ice cubes as well as her favourite pink reusable straw. Passing the glass to her he nodded before taking a sip of his beer, "Yes it will be an honour to protect the tribe and you, since you are my soul mate it is the greatest of honour to ensure you are safe." he couldn't help but chuckle when she said she didn't want him getting hurt, "don't you worry little one, I'm stronger then you think." and he moved up to the bar stool and pressed a kiss to her lips.

She gave him the most innocent of looks but the sparkle in the eye said different, and she winked at him, her cheeks just a little bit pink. They hadn't really spoke about that kind of nature but it was nice to know he thought of her that way. Dancing from side to side in her seat she waited for her drink, taking a long slurp once it was in her hands, "thank you wolfie!" She cooed, resting it back down in front of her and her smile only grew when he came over and she rested her hands on his hips to pull him in close, so that each of his legs were either side of hers. "I know, I just couldn't bare for your pretty little face to get hurt." And with that she kissed him back.

Connor watched as she gave the most innocent look at it made his heart beat so much harder then it had done before but they had never really talked over this topic of conversation. She had no idea what effect she was having on him and it didn't entirely seem fair. "You don't have to worry about my face, I promise I'll come home safe and sound to you." As her lips pressed up against his he scooped her up off the chair and into his arms to prop her up on the kitchen counter so that she closer to his height while he remained standing. Pulling away he looked into her eyes and moved some of her hair behind her ear, "we are going to be married soon.. and I can't wait Gabbie.. because fuck I love you"

Gabbie knew he was strong, he could fight well and he was a tough guy, but she was feeling rather protective of him, even more so now that they were going to be getting married. She couldn't be burying him before they'd even said their 'I do'. Her lips grinned against his as he lifted her up, meaning she was more level with him and he didn't have to strain his neck any more and they could do some very much needed smooching. Her arms around his neck and she held him as close to her as he could possibly get. Her eyes wandering up and down his body, before gazing straight into his eyes. "It's going to be the best day of our lives. And I love you the most, Connor diamond, more than you will ever understand." She let out a little giggle.

Connor could tell that Gabbie was worried about him, their strong connection made that clear but he was a proud werewolf and fighting for his tribe meant a great deal to him. Plus, this would be his first proper tribe war in his generation. He had never actually witnessed the death of a rival tribes alpha but he knew that the consequences would be bad. As they kissed a million and one thoughts seem to run through his mind but he could only focus properly on one and that was how much he loved Gabbie. Pulling away to allow them both to breath he chuckled as she giggled, "I think you'll find I love you the mostest little one." he lifted his hand from her waist to stroke her cheek with his thumb, "I couldn't imagine you being this tall, I like how dainty and small you are compared to me." he pressed another kiss on to her forehead before stepping away and picking up his bottle of beer that he opened when they arrived home.

This man stood in front of her was he even soul mate and she felt so lucky to be able to call him that, she hadn't had to search all her life, he had been right there in front of her and he felt it too. She didn't know what she would have done if he hadn't felt the same. Her hands released his shirt that she'd been grasping and she patted it down with her hands to get rid of the creases. Her nose scrunching up when he called her little one, that always made her heart beat fast. "I think we need to come to some agreement otherwise I will debate this until I'm blue in the face. How about we love each other equally?" She grinned and pushed herself back off the counter and going over to pick her lemonade back up, slurping away at it. "I can't believe your brother is alpha."

"hmm I suppose we could agree to disagree" he teased before nodding his head, "fine, we love each other equally but because I'm taller it means I'm filled up with more love for you." he smirked, kissing her on the top of the head once she had jumped down from the countertop. The pair of them headed into the living room where they got into their natural positions of comfort which for Connor was sticking his legs up on the coffee table so he could stretch out properly. "It's mental, like I knew it would happen eventually but damn.." he turned to look at Gabbie, sipping at his beer before continuing, "and for him to kill Emmanuel thats a serious statement to make but they do say people kill for love. And I sure as hell know I'd kill any bastard that tried to hurt you."

Gabbie gasped at him but she really couldn't argue with that, he had at least 12 inches on her and he was much broader than she would ever be either. "I don't know about that one chief." She winked at him and followed him into the living room and she took her place, under his arm against his side, and eventually when she got tired her head would end up in his lap at some point in the night. Pulling her skirt down her thighs she crossed her legs at her ankles and leaned her head back, nodding slowly. "We always knew he liked Luna, I think that's always been obvious, I just didn't realise it was so serious." She admitted, still feeling sorry for Sasha. But her heart warmed at what he said. "And I'd burn anyone with the fires of hell if they tried to hurt you."
