TJ smiled a little wider as she grinned at him, climbing into the bed beside her and holding the plate up for her so it didn't fall. He shook his head, as he passed her her drink as well.
"Nah, I'm not that hungry. You need it more." Once she had them off him, he picked up his mug off the side too and had a drink, before laying his head back to look at the ceiling. "So, what times the appointment?" He moved his head to the side to look at her. Considering they'd just woken up, she looked pretty beautiful. He figured the soppy feelings were just because of their time apart but honestly? He didn't really mind them.
Max couldn't help but smirk a little as she made up the excuse. He rolled his eyes as he had another drink from his tea, his eyes still on the story in the newspaper he was reading. When she asked him, his eyes looked up over the mug to meet hers. He swallowed and placed the cup down, shrugging his shoulders loosely.
"I don't know, late? I spent most of the night looking for you, you never answered your phone." He pursed his lips a little, the only sign of the worry he felt the previous night as his eyes fell back to the paper. "Where did you get off to, anyway?" He turned the page of the paper, trying to appear less intrigued than he really was.
Cole raised his eyebrows at her, the corners of his lips pulling down as he nodded his head slowly once she'd left the room. He'd never been treated like this before after just a one time thing, it was impressive. He caught the box in his hand and opened it, pulling out two of the capsules before placing the box on the side. He took a seat on the sofa and glanced around the room. It was a pretty neat place too, comfortable and tidy. When she re-entered, he looked up to meet her gaze, taking the glass of water from her.
"Thanks." He smiled at her and took a sip from it first, before taking the two paracetamol that were in his hand. "I don't mean to be rude but... what's your name again?" He grimaced a little, expecting an earful and a decline for breakfast.
Katia scoffed a little, shaking her head. She was taking it seriously but the comment had raised a smile.
"I'm not calling it a fish, Alex." She rolled her eyes before looking at him, her head tilted slightly to the side. The smile dropped a little as she thought again and she exhaled. Shaking her head, she declined his offer. "No, no. It's fine. I'll be fine." She shrugged her shoulders, her lips pursed a little in frustration. After a couple of seconds of silence, she quickly moved toward him, between his thighs, as her arms wrapped around his waist, her head against his chest. She just needed him, feeling a lot worse than he apparently did. "I'd tell you to have fun but I don't think that's what you're supposed to say in this situation."
