Dymitrius couldn’t believe this but it was out of his power, this wasn’t his thing to be getting involved in and he ran a hand over his hair. He couldn’t watch. This poor innocent little girl was just having everything ripped away from her, all the joy of being a young rascal witch, all the fun she could have had and now she’d just be boring. He turned when he heard Luna speaking, a language he had never heard before and the intensity he felt in his body had him doubled over and he had to put a hand over his mouth to stop the feeling completely, it was so over powering. Dark magic was something he didn’t know about, he knew she had it in her, she’d vaguely explained it but she never told him anything else. He felt it in his hands and he clenched his fists before loosening them, over and over.
Gabbie paused when he did and she looked around her. They were in the middle of nowhere and she was actually a little bit scared, what if this was all just a plan to lure her into a place so that his hellhound could take over and finish her off once and for all? She hesitantly climbed onto his back and he carried them up the tree, managing to land back in her feet, wobbling slightly but she was stopped in her tracks when she realise where they were and she gasped her heart was ready to fall out of her throat and she was choking up. He said no tears but this was way too special. “The treehouse..” she whispered, like if she said it too loud it would all come crashing down. “My favourite place in the whole world.” She told him, standing in front of him, she reached up on her tiptoes to kiss him.
