Gabbie hated the tension between the brothers, when usually they were so humble and cheeky together but this time, it was like you could cut the tension with a butter knife it was so thick. Glad that Luna was there. At least she wouldn’t have to sit with them and hear them argue it out, that would just make her cringe. “Yeah that sounds like a good idea, you need to show me your beautiful new home.” She brushes last D, being careful not to touch him or anything, the last thing she wanted was Connor flipping and accusing her of something, it was horrible that she had to think that way now. She followed Luna into the kitchen, her eyes taking in the whole place. “Wow, this place is fantastic.” She commented, leaning her arms in the counter tops.

Dymitrius was more than ready to lash out but then he felt Luna and her presence and he had to tell himself to clam down. This was their home, their place of tranquility and he wasn’t about to upset that. “Yeah I believe you owe me more than just an explanation goon, a sorry and a little bit of grovelling will go a long way too,” he commented, but he opened the door wider, first of all letting Gabbie in to walk off with Luna, smirking just a little bit, his heart belong to Luna now but how was he supposed to ignore Gabbie when she wore tiny little skirts like that? He then let Connor in and walked through to the living room with him, sitting at one end of the sofa, sitting slightly forward, his elbows on his thighs. “So, what the fuck is going on, huh? Cos what you did back there, I know it wasn’t you.” He told him. It had been horrible to watch, to see his brother acting so out of character.

Luna could feel a small change in Dymitrius as Gabbie went passed and she just laughed to herself, some girls might be threatened or feel insecure but she knew that he loved her and wasn't about to go off with anyone else. Those wondering eyes might get you in trouble one day she said playfully into his mind as she headed into the kitchen with Gabbie. "Its stunning isnt it? I can hardly believe its home if I'm honest, still feels like I'm invading someone else's place." She went over to the cupboard and removed some vodka for herself, "do you want a drink drink or an angel approved drink?" She said with a soft laugh.

Connor wanted to hold onto Gabbies hand for support but before he knew it she was going off with Luna and he knew that this talk was going to have to be between the two of them. No backup. "I know I know," he started as his brother spoke but he followed him indoors and into the living room. It was his first time seeing the interior and wow, Alphas definitely lived a life of luxury that was for sure. Sitting himself down on the sofa he stayed leaning forward slightly, not wanting to get too comfortable while they spoke. "Well as it turns that devil juice that I never finished drinking was to empty my body of whatever Lucifer put into me to heal me. Now that is causing me to.. change.. I am becoming part hellhound." The words sounded so foreign and he let out a sigh, "apparently they run on desires like lust and violence, which as I've found out is very hard to control."

Dymitrius just smirked at the small message from Luna. They trusted each other so much already, and he knew he could look but he would never touch. Plus the way Connor was acting, he wouldn’t dare. He listened to him speak and slowly nodded pressing his hands together. “First of all, I want an apology from you, for the way you spoke to me and acted towards Luna, she is my companion and she deserves respect.” He took a breath and looked him in the eyes. “But I understand you were acting in character. This.. what this is..” he nodded his head to him. “Is this permanent? Or will this wear off. Because I don’t want you endangering the tribe.” He told him. If Connor needed time D would give it to him.

Gabbie couldn’t believe how magical this place was, so high tech, everything was the latest and newest. She loved the home that her and Connor had but this was something else. She had no idea an alpha would live in this way. “I bet once you put your own personal touch in it, it’ll feel much better. I know what you mean, it was so weird moving out my family home.” He bit her lip, tilting her head. “Definitely a real drink, I think I owe my body at least one after the shit I’ve been through.” She sighed a little, pushing herself into the bar stool. “I’m sorry for the way Connor spoke about you.. but it’s half my fault. I didn’t realise I needed to keep feeding him that potion thing.” She admitted.

Connor nodded his head as he listened to his brothers words, "I am sorry, and I wish I could take back my actions and my words from earlier today. Towards both of you." He lifted one hand to his head, rubbing his temples gently as he thought to himself. "You know I wouldn't do anything to hurt you or Luna," but even saying that he wasn't sure how much he believed himself. In that sate he had the potential of doing anything and he didn't even fully trust himself. "It's permanent," and saying that out loud he could have broken down in tears right there which just proved how vulnerable he was  feeling "I'll understand if you want me out of the tribe brother. I'm a liability right now.. " he sighed.

Luna removed two unused glasses from the cupboard and added some ice cubes to both before a fair measure of vodka before adding Diet Coke to both and handing one glass over to Gabbie, "unfortunately my family home was sold without my consent but at least that baster is dead." she said before taking a sip and sitting herself up onto the countertop, finding it a much more comfortable spot. "you've really earned that drink," she laughed. "No need to apologise, his behaviour isn't your fault and don't blame yourself either. How are things going though? because if he has laid a finger on you you can tell me about it. I don't want you to feel like you have to keep anything bottled up or go through all of this alone." she paused for a moment, moving some of her hair behind her ear, "I know we didn't get off on the best foot but I'm here if you ever need a friend."

Dymitrius nodded slowly, pursing his lips together. “I understand. It’s going to be tough but I’m going to be here for you. I guess I’ll just have to work on my strength so I can hold you back a little better.” He chuckled, and he got up and went and sat on the same sofa as Connor, resting his hand on his shoulder. It was obvious he was going through something serious and it was concerning to see his brother so vulnerable, plus goodness knows what him and Gabbie were going through. “Brother I would never want you out if the tribe. But until I say so, you’re no longer part of this war, you hear me?” He could see he wanted to argue but he put his hand up. “Take this time to enjoy planning your wedding.”

Gabbie gladly took the glass from Luna he took a nice long sip, it was refreshing and she closes her eyes for a brief second. It was exactly what the doctor ordered. She opened her eyes and lifted her head to look at Luna who was now sitting in the counter. “Well that bastard widow husband of yours deserved everything that came to him. I could see what a shadow of yourself he made you.” She didn’t agree with the way D had treated Sasha. “The heart wants what the heart wants right?” She said taking another sip, shrugging. “ little.. but it’s nothing I didn’t do back to him. I guess he can just recover a lot quicker than I can.” She gave her a small smile.

Tough was an understatement, Connor thought to himself, this other side of him seemed to be twitching to get out and who knew what would happen if he was around Sierra again. He had control the last time but what if that slipped away from him again? He was terrified. "For once I might actually be the stronger brother huh? who would have thought." he joked, D had always been stronger and better at fighting in general. Watching as he moved over to beside him he appreciated the contact, at least his brother was forgiving him. "But" he said but frowned a little, there was no way he was arguing his way out of this one, "fine, fine. I'll take a step back.. but there's something I want you to consider." he paused, trying to think of the best way to approach the matter, "I saw dad today and he misses us."

After the kind of day both girls had had, they deserved this drink and maybe even a few more for Luna once the company had left. Laughing a little at the way Gabbie summed up Emmanuel, "Just wish I could have done it myself." Taking a sip from her glass she could feel it easing any tension in her body from earlier on but the reality was she just wanted to be cuddled up with Dymitrius again. Who knew she would become so desperate for physical connection, it had never been her way before. "That's one way of putting it," she listened as Gabbie explained that she was in a little pain, "as long as you gave him hell back because he shouldn't be allowed to get away with it. Even if he isn't quite himself right now." she laughed, thinking back to Lucifer showing up at the cabin earlier on. "did Lucifer manage to shine some darkness over what was happening to Connor?"

Dymitrius could even feel his brother getting agitated. “You need to find a way to control this.. to find a release that doesn’t hurt anyone around you, because the last thing you need is to upset Gabbie.. I felt the wa she threw you against the cabin.” He let out a small laugh, running a hand over his hair and sighing. “Maybe you need to start taking parkour running up again, to work out some energy?” He suggested leaning back he crossed his arms over his chest. But his brows furrowed at what Connor next said, it wasn’t what he was thinking at all. “How did you see him, was he in our territory?” He thought about it sighing. “I miss him too.. but he’s the one that let us go.” He shrugged, not meeting Connor in the eye.

Gabbie raised an eyebrow. “Who did it, D?” she asked, she actually had no idea what had gone down, all she knew was that it was a messy situation between everyone, she just wished things could work our nice and simple. She wondered what the boys were getting up to, and whether or not they were getting along, they were such close siblings they didn’t deserve to be pulled apart. She twirled a curl of her hair around her finger as she fought about it. “Well I’m the one who stopped feeding him the potion.. that was supposed to fix him. But I thought it was making it worse. So it is kind of my fault for what he did.” She sighed quietly, but then smiled when she mentioned her father. “Dad said he had some sort of hellhound vibes going on.”

Connor definitely needed to figure out how to get himself in control but it wasn't that easy, there wasn't a manual he could read, "you felt that huh?" he said with a small laugh, "she packs some serious strength thats for sure but hell I deserved it." he looked back down at his hands before nodding again, "maybe if you aren't too busy getting laid you could join me, like we use to do?" he suggested, it would definitely help having someone around him at the start incase the adrenaline rush hit him the wrong way. But the mention of their father seemed to put Dymitrius a bit on edge, "uh.. no, I was being a bit reckless but it was in the name of saving my relationship. But father said he regrets what he did, letting us both get exiled.. and he wanted me to pass on how proud he is of you as alpha."

Luna nodded her head gently, "the worst part was that because of the imprint connection it hurt me letting him die and then once he was gone it was like my body just started to give up on me." Lifting her glass up to her lips she downed the remainder of the glass before pouring herself another one but this time with a bit more vodka. "don't blame yourself, you had no idea." she said simply but the use of the name 'dad' made her flinch just a little bit, it was still weird knowing that Gabbie was actually his daughter. "A hellhound? damn that's pretty insane. They can be very uh.. lustful creatures." she chuckled softly.

Dymitrius grinned, just a tad. “At least you’ve got some competition in the relationship, she’s not a complete pushover. I think it would have been real boring if she was just an angel, at least this way you guys can have some fun.” If at was always best to see the better side of things. But then he had to smirk and he shook his head. “Eh, I think I could leave kuna alone for half an hour to come join you, that could be fun. Especially now I basically own this side of the forest, we can make as much noise as he want.” He nudged him gently with his shoulder. It was hard talking about their dad, of course he kissed him.. but they never got on at the best of times. “Well that’s awfully kind of him.” He bit his lip. “Is he okay though? Surviving?” He had to know.

Gabbie gutted and shook her head. She could never imagine what it would be like to have your soul mate or imprinted partner die on you, it was bad enough when she had found out Connor had had his animal instincts fulfilled by another wolf. “Well then it sounds like D did exactly what he had to do, I don’t blame him for it. He’s always loved you, hasn’t he.” She smiled slightly, finishing off her glass but resting her hand over it. It was best if she didn’t have another glass, she needed a sober mind, just in case Connor decided to lash out. “You can say that again.” She raised both her brows and nodded. “He called me all sorts of things, when he was in that state.”

Connor chuckled, it was nice being able to joke around a bit now, "I suppose, at least I know she can protect herself if I completely lose my marbles." Watching his brother he couldn't help but laugh again, "sure you can come without her that long? I've never seen you quite so needy before." but he was smirking now and the pair of them were finally back to just having a laugh the way they use to. "King of the damn forest now aren't you D?" he teased but the smile faded just a little. "he wants out, he's thinking of trying to make it as a solo wolf.. but I said I'd try and twist your leg into considering accepting him into our tribe." this was going to be a tough sell but he gave his dad his word.

It was weird hearing someone else tell Luna how much Dymitrius loved her because most of their 'relationship' at the time ended up having to be so secretive, "Yeah we've loved each other for a long time, though I don't condone what he did to your friend." she said, not wanting to mention Sasha by name. Laughing a little as Gabbie covered her glass she handed her over the bottle of Diet Coke so that she could have some juice instead. "I can imagine," she commented, taking a big sip of her glass, "just don't let him walk all over you. You are made of much stronger stuff than that." Pausing a smirk formed on her lips, "you know if we really wanted to we could take down both of them with ease. The two of us would make a pretty unbeatable team."

Dymitrius smirked at what Connor had to say and just shook his head. What he wanted to say was real inappropriate so he kept it to himself running his tongue along his teeth, but his eyes were golden just thinking about it. “I have my reasons for being needy, Connor, you’re a young wolf, you should understand that.” He shrugged, leaning back, stretching his arms across the back of the sofa. He bit down on his bottom lip, looking away for a second. “He’d never make it as a lone wolf.. he just wouldn’t. He’s too old for that now, a young tribe would tear him up, chew him and spit him out.” He pinched the bridge of his nose. “He still has to go through initiation but yes, I’ll make an exception for him.”

Gabbie pushes her lips together when she mentioned Sasha. “Well she wasn’t so innocent either, she’s done some bad things.. I know their relationship wasn’t based in love.. I think she was just lonely.. a lonely human who had a half blood son.” But she just shook her head, as if to say we won’t talk about that any more. Luna’s suggestion about taking the boys down, however, has piqued her interest and she poured herself a glass of pop, swigging it slowly. “You know, that’s not such a bad idea. I could hold them in place while you do some magic voodoo thing on them.” She let out a little giggle. She didn’t quite know what Luna was capable of, all she knew was this when she was needed, she pulled her finger out and did the job.

Connor raised his eyebrow as he watched his brothers eyes change and he couldn't help but laugh, "one that is trying to show a lot of self control thank you very much." He ran a hand through his hair, ruffling it about for a moment as silence fell between them. Of course it wasn't just a simple decision for Dymitrius, he was alpha and there was a lot of responsibility that came with that. "He really doesn't stand a chance," he agreed, but a large grin formed on his face when his brother spoke again, "I knew you'd say that. You haven't lost your heart after all." he laughed, looking over towards the kitchen as he heard Gabbie giggling away "it's nice seeing those two get on."

Luna had a lot of opinions about Sasha and it was probably best not to air them out to her best friend of all people. She had some level of sympathy but after the ring that all faded away so she was thankful that Gabbie took the hint to move on from the subject. "Magic voodoo?" she said, not being able to help but laugh. Not many people understood magic, it was a very fluid and complex power which was just another reason why she loved being a witch. "that is one way to sum up what I do." Taking another sip from her glass to finish it off she slid off the counter top. "lets go and see if those two have made up yet." and with that she wondered out of the kitchen and towards the massive living room. "are you two friends again?" she asked as she entered the room.

Dymitrius chuckled, a low boyish chuckle that only ever really came out around Connor, when the two of them were being goofballs. The reality was that yes, D held grudges real hard but for family it was a bit of a different matter. “My heart is always there, just sometimes charcoal and being a badass gets in the way, but it’s my pack now, and my rules too, and if anyone wants to argue with that, they can come and say it to my face can’t they.” He shrugged, and he lifted his head to hear the girls talking and giggling. “It is. I’m glad they dint hate each other.. which was what I half expected. You know, cos of how close Gabbie and Sasha were but.. I’m glad she doesn’t hate Luna.” He watched the girls come into the living room and he shuffled across t make room in case they wanted to sit down. “Yeah we shook hands like good boys.” He teased.

Gabbie laughed again and shook her head. It was just another funky little fact about her, just like how she’d been taught that werewolves were the scariest beings of all, she was taught all the bad and horrid things about witches too, but the witches Gabbie learned about looked nothing like Luna. “Don’t worry.. just another one of my mother’s famous hiccups in the truth. I’m sure there’s much more to you than just being able to curse people.” She had to admit she was impressed when she made the glass slide across the counter, and she followed her into the living room, pleased to see they were both getting on, a little bit at least. “No more tears from either of you?” She let out another giggle.

Connor was in a lucky position because if his brother wasn't alpha he would likely be getting booted out of the tribe for being whatever hybrid he had become. Most tribes were rather elitist but everyone had a lot of respect for Dymitrius so hopefully wouldn't fight his decisions. "Good, because the old man deserves to live out the rest of his life in peace, even if it means having to suck up to his least favourite son." he laughed. "That's true, could have ended up being a bit messy." his eyes shifted over to the girls as they came through and the smile on his lips at the sight of Gabbie said it all. "you only just missed the waterworks." he laughed.

"Were you also told that I would be green with big stinky warts?" Luna laughed again, that was a very common misconception as well as the Harry Potter shit. Reality was witches and warlocks were pretty bad ass unless they were just shit, like Thomas. Once they were back in the living room she sat herself down beside Dymitrius and leaned against his warm body, "That's good then," she said softly, waving her arm towards the fireplace causing a fire to roar into life to warm them all up but there was a sharp pain inside of her that she tried not to show but D had definitely felt it. Clearly her body was still angry about having used dark magic.

Connor flinched when the fire came to life and his eyes stared at it for a long moment, if she could make something that intense show up with very little effort what the hell else could that witch do? Pushing that thought to the back of his head he looked over at Luna as he spoke, "I owe you an apology for my behaviour recently Luna, I had no right to talk to you or hurt you the way I did but I'm trying to practice some self control."

Dymitrius shoved Connor playfully. “I think I might be the favourite now I’m alpha, and you know, not part demon.” He smirked. “Have you told him that bit by the way?” He asked,  bur the girls were back in the room now and Luna had settled herself beside him, and his arm that was along the bad of the sofa wrapped around the front of her instead had he kissed the side of her head softly, his eyes blinking a couple of times when she made the fire roar. He really wasn’t going to have to lift a finger in this house, it was going to become a very boujee lifestyle and he felt like he deserved it, after the shit he’d been through. And Luna might have been trying to put on a brave face but he could feel it inside of him. He was grateful when his brother apologised and he nodded once.

Gabbie nodded her head at Luna. “I was taught some awful things but I’m slowly learning it was all through rose tinted glasses. The world definitely isn’t as scary as my mother liked to make out.” She placed herself sitting in Connor’s knee, using her toes to balanced herself, reaching her hands back to grasp his so that she wouldn’t fall from side to side. She was so proud of him, for apologising and being the bigger man, it must have been so hard for him to do, considering he probably didn’t remember half of what he was apologising for. “Yeah we will work in that one. At least there was no victims, it seems to be more oust than violence.. I don’t know which one I’m more grateful for.” She shrugged, glancing down at him.
