Connor slipped his hands into Gabbies as she sat herself down on his lap, shaking his head at his brothers cheeky comment regarding him now being the favourite son. "Thank you," he smiled over at Luna, he really did appreciate the pair of them accepting his apologies. Now he just had to continue to behave going forward and things would hopefully be okay. Looking to Gabbie he gave her a slightly sadder smile, "hopefully I'll be able to refocus all of my energy elsewhere," he said quietly, though the other two would have heard him, before pressing a kiss to her cheek. Looking back to Luna he shook his head, "no no, we've taken up enough of your time today."

Gabbie was glad Luna wasn’t going to hold the grudge, as much as she’d hated the way he acted, she hadn’t been so nice either. Her head turned to Connor and she picked up in what he said, nodding. “We will work out our.” She said back. And they would, whatever it was, whatever happened.. even if he felt like chopping her up into tiny pieces. She would forgive him, because that was what soulmates did. “Yeah we were just passing by, we will get out of your hair. Thanks for the drink though, Luna.” She grinned at her, standing up from his
ap, brushing her skirt down she began to head to the front door. “But we will have to have dinner, all four of us, that’s a good idea.” She nodded, pulling her jacket back on. “See you guys later!” She called, walking out the door.

"later," he said simply as the pair headed out. The weather had changed for the worst and it was now raining but thankfully the drive home wasn't going to take too long. "thanks for coming with me and encouraging me to do that, feels a lot better knowing that I've made amends with the pair of them. Picking up the helmet he handed one over to Gabbie before pulling his own on and getting onto the bike. "lets get home."

Gabbie smiled up at him, though her face was a little scrunched up from the rain that was pouring and she gladly took the helmet, shoving it on, mainly to protect her hair from going frizzy in the rain. Yep, she was an angel demon hybrid but that didn’t stop the rain from messing with her beautiful locks of hair. “You know I’ll always be by your side Connor, not matter what. I’m always gonna be here for you, I love you.” She smiled, hopping on the bike and grabbing his hips, she rested her face, well, her helmet, against his back and closed her eyes, embracing the feeling of being on the bike, she loved it so much. They were back home in no time, considering they didn’t live too far away from D and Luna and she hopped off, taking the helmet off and handing it to him.

Connor drove at a safe speed back towards the house, her words swirling through his head as he drove. It wasn't a long journey and it seemed to pass almost instantly so once they pulled up at the house he hopped off the bike and took both their helmets, storing them away in the garage where the bike was kept. "Lets get inside little one, I'm absolutely starving." he said with a chuckle as he opened up the door for them both to head inside. He kicked off his shoes and threw the keys into a little ball in the hallway before heading straight into the kitchen where he grabbed a bear and some meat from the fridge. "so you and Luna are friends now huh?" he called through to her, laughing just a little as he remembered the way she use to be so sceptical of her.

Gabbie jogged inside once he’d opened the door, kicking her shoes off immediately so she wouldn’t dirty the hallway too much and she went straight for the radiator. It wasn’t even that cold but the rain had soaked her and she wasn’t exactly wearing much to begin with. She shivered as she pressed herself to the radiator, rubbing her bum and her hands across it in an attempt to warm up. “I can make you something proper to eat in a minute, I just need to thaw out first.” She grinned, but he couldn’t see her, seeming as they were in different rooms. “Well she poured me a very special drink and we talked it out. She’s not so bad. I guess witches aren’t so scary after all.” Once she’d warmed up, she headed into the kitchen, seeing him munching away on a packet of ham and she just had to laugh.

Once she came through he gave a small pout as she laughed at his packet of ham and he put it back into the fridge. "A special drink huh? Should I be worried," he teased, leaning himself against the kitchen counter and wrapping his arms around her waist to pull her in close to him. "The few witches I've met haven't been scary but I'm sure there are a few bad eggs out there. Though I don't think she's one but saying that.. my brothers choice in women has always been questionable."

Breaking all the rules of being an angelic princess now.” She laughed, her hands coming up to rest on his chest when he pulled her in close, the warmth radiating off him felt magnificent. It was one of connors best traits. “Well why doesn’t that surprise me? But no.. I think Luna has all good intentions, I think she really loves your brother. I mean they have no choice now he’s imprinted on her, but I think this time, she is actually accepting it.” She smiled up at him.

"Vodka? she really is leading my angel astray," he said with a low chuckle before taking a sip from his bottle of beer with one hand while the other remains around her waist. The way Gabbie looked up at him was addictive and it was always like she could see all of him, all the way into his soul. "Well D is definitely infatuated with her, that much is clear." But it was good to get some confirmation that Luna did care for his brother, at least the two of them could keep each other happy and hopefully sane. "now what was that you said about possibly cooking us .. well.. me up a feast and you a regular sized Childs portion."

But she saw his eyes light up at the mention of food, and once she’d leaned up to press a kiss to his cheek, she slipped out of his hold and she went over to their fridge freezer, having to really yank on it considering it was so chock full of meat and she pulled out some chicken thighs and looked at him. “Will these do your majesty?” She smirked, starting up their dinner.

As she pressed a kiss to her lips and tried to move away he tugged her back to give her a kiss on the lips before releasing her back over to the fridge freezer. "oh those will do nicely little one." he decided to stay in the kitchen with her as she cooked, wanting to be in her company. "It was nice seeing my father today and hearing him excited about our engagement really hit home. I didn't need his blessing for us to go ahead with everything but now that I have it, it just makes things even more exciting."

Gabbie always got little happy bubbles in her whenever Connor would pull her back for a proper kiss, in fact sometimes she only kissed his cheek so he would do that. She got the little griddle thing out and slapped the ten chicken thighs on it and then she cooked up a load of veg and then some salt and pepper chips too, it was all on the go and she went over to the fridge, first going to grab a water but then she paused, picking out a chocolate milkshake instead and her eyes twinkled. Why did he still feel so rebellious to drink something like that? “I’m glad you got to speak to him, in all honesty. I think that’s what you needed today, I can tell it’s changed something in you.”

He would need to keep a closer eye on his hunger because he had no idea if that would be another trigger for this damn hellhound that was craving to break free. "Yeah I think the possibility of having my family reunited really seemed to give me that kick up the ass because things could be really perfect here for us and if I let this other side take over I would ruin it." he let out a small sigh, taking another sip from the beer bottle. He was drinking it quickly but it had little to no effect on him, "About what you said earlier, I wish this .. thing inside of me wasn't driven by lust because I know it hurts you and it changes me into something I'm not. But I promise you I won't let it win, never again."

Gabbie smiled even more when he spoke about it, that was such a good thing to hear, how he was so family orientated. She didn’t know what a loving family felt like, not really. Her mother has said what she’d done to Gabbie was filled with care but Gabbie wasn’t so sure any more. “Hopefully it’s just another clink in the chain that will straighten you out.. I guess it’s been hard for you, not having him around.” She hadn’t even realised how tough that might have been for him. She slurped on her little carton of milkshake, pulling out some tongs to flip the chicken over. “It’s okay Connor.. I get what it is and I’ll learn to deal with it in my own way. I know you can’t control it.. I just wish I could help you with that side of yourself.” She admitted.

Connor tipped the remainder of the bottle into his mouth before tossing it into the recycling pile that they kept near the backdoor. He had always admitted to being a family guy and the bond he had with his brother was something that he hoped would be unbreakable, and when it came to his father well.. he had always been loyal. "There's been so much of my life I wanted to share with him, when I was younger I always thought that I would build my future home and he would be right there with me. Hopefully soon we can make up for lost time." As she flipped over the chicken the scent wafted towards him and his eyes glistened with golden specks just for a moment. "Don't worry little one, I don't want you to feel pressured into rushing anything just because of how I am now. I promised we would wait until we were married and I don't break my promises."
