He carried on sipping at his drink and listening to her and he nodded, looking st the back cover she'd created and he bit in his lip. "Awesome, let's do it then, we've got all the ideas we've got literally everything apart from the paragraphs down on paper." He licked his lips as he began writing down some rough drafts.

Mila shrugged her shoulders. "That's not your problem right now, plus drama is a doss lesson for most students anyway, that's how it started out for me." She smirked as she carried on peeling her cheese string, wrapping them round her tongue and chomping in it slowly. "I dunno, I'm just gonna stand out like a sore thumb aren't I? Maybe I should change into something a bit less teenagey." She looked down at her legs, jumping down off the kitchen counter.

Come here." he said as he pulled her in close for a hug, pressing a kiss to her forehead. "if you want to change I'll give you five minutes otherwise we can just leave, sound good?"

Mila grinned when he got defensive and he’d hands dame up to rest in his chin, pressing a kiss to his nose. “I’m kidding, drama is the best. You taught me how to be the perfect tree in the background.” She joked, but then she had to make the decision of whether or not to change and she shook her head. “No, this is me, why should I change just to try and fit in.” She didn’t dress up, it just wasn’t her thing, only for special occasions. She wrapped her arms around him and kissed his chest where her head was resting. “Okay okay lets go before I cuddle you to death.”

But troublesome students get to become the perfect tree." he chuckled, watching for a moment as she made a decision regarding her clothing. As she wrapped her arms around him he did the same in return and kissed the top of her head, "but cuddles til death sound kind of inviting." he teased, before slipping out of their hug and grabbing hold of his phone, wallet and keys and they headed out to the car.

Mila grinned cheekily up at him. "I have no idea what you're in about, I'm a good girl." She bagged her eyelashes at him, giving him one more squeeze before heading for the front door, slinging her across the body bag on over her leather jacket, making sure her space buns looked tidy in a messy kind of way and then headed out after him. "You can have death by cuddles when we get home." She grinned again, getting into the car once he'd unlocked it and strapping herself in.

Ryan was looking forward to these cuddles but for now he had to focus on driving and once the pair were strapped in he put his foot down. The bowling alley wasn't too far from their home so it was only about a fifteen minute drive but the pair were blasting tunes the whole way. Once he pulled into a parking spot, "ah Elijah's car is here already, you ready baby?" he said as pressed a kiss to her hand before getting out the car. Taking her hand in his the pair entered the bowling alley.

Elijah (see here) was around five foot nine, so a bit shorter than Ryan but definitely still toned. He was the same age and the pair had been friends since primary school both winning the hearts of girls throughout their years. His wife, Riley, was sat by his side wearing light blue ripped skinny jeans and a plain white crop top with layered gold necklaces and her waist length blonde hair was glowing. Elijah stood up as he saw his best friend arrive, "Ryan!" he grinned as he pulled him in for a hug, patting him on the back, "oh its good to see you!"

Mila actually felt really nervous once they were there which was unusual for her, she was so sure of herself for most of the time. “Ready as I’ll ever be, to take you down in bowling.” She teased as she followed him in, letting go of his hand when he hugged his friend, giving them all a little wave but she mainly stayed stood behind him. She really stood out right now, this guy and his wife were so well polished and she was all of a sudden dreading it. “Hey, I’m Mila.” She introduced herself.

Ryan grinned widely when he saw Elijah, the two of them had been good friends for what felt like centuries. "it's been far too long mate!" he grinned, turning his head slightly to Mila, "yes this is Mila, my girlfriend. Mila this is Elijah and the lovely lady over here is Riley, his wife." he went over and gave Riley a hug as well. "shall we get some drinks and grab a lane then?"

Elijah had definitely not expected Ryans girlfriend to look so young and she had a very different style to what Kelly had, "it's a pleasure to finally meet the lady that won over my best mates heart," he said it all with a grin before turning to Ryan, "yeah we've got lane 7 booked so if the ladies want to head over we shall grab the shoes and drinks!"

Riley gave Ryan a hug and smiled over at Mila, "hey cutie," she said as she went over and gave her a hug as well. "don't take too long boys!" she called before walking alongside Mila. "it's nice to meet you Mila, you must be one special girl to get Ryans attention."

Mila felt like a spare part, these guys were fully fledged adults and she felt like an actual child now. These people were married for god sake. First of all she smiled at Elijah and nodded her head. “I guess you could say that..” she smiled and then walked over to the lane with Riley, looking her up and down, she just had to. She could potentially be competition. “Hmm, I think he’s the special one, I don’t know why he settled for me.” She smiled and sat down, crossing one leg over the other and looking around. “How long have got and Elijah been married?” She asked.

Stephan and his wife, Tayla, came bustling in and Stephan gave Ryan and Elijah a bit pat in the back, Tayla heading straight over to where she had spotted Riley and the girl who must have been Ryan’s new piece. “Nice to see you lands, almost like we’re getting the band back together.” He grinned and grabbed him and Tayla a drink, and their shoes too.

"don't be silly you are adorable!" she smiled, taking a seat in the lane and adding all of their names onto the machine. "we've been married for about four years now, but we started dating when we were just fifteen, can't believe how fast time has flown by." Lifting her head up she squealed as she saw Tayla, "hey girl!"

Tayla said hey to all the guys before heading over to the girls, and when she was near she gave them both a wave, "hiiii," she looked round at Mila, "no way are you Ryan's girl?! you look old enough to be his student." she laughed, sitting herself down on the chair in front of Mila, "I'm Tayla," she said with a fake smile on her lips.

Ryan grinned when Stephan showed up, man it was good to have his two pals around again it had felt like a lifetime since they had all hung out. But being an adult it seemed almost impossible to find time that they all had free, "just like the olden days apart from you have some greys coming in Stephan," he chuckled, getting two drinks and shoes for himself and Mila. "I brought Mila along to meet you guys but I have a feeling she's a bit nervous."

Mila grimaced a little when she got called adorable, that was the last thing she wanted. She wanted to be a sexy independent woman but it seemed these ladies were more than ready to rip that scenario apart. “That must feel like a lifetime ago now.” She simply stated, raising an eyebrow and smiling at the other woman who had arrived. “Nice to meet you, I’m Mila, Ryan’s girlfriend.” She looked over at the bar, just yearning for him to come back because this was too awkward for her and she wanted to run. Tayla’s comment caught her attention and she raised her eyebrows. “I was, at one one.” She said simply.

steohan punched Ryan in the arm in a playful way, reaching up to his hair and ruffling it around self consciously. “Ya cheeky shit, no need to be like that.” He got him and his wife the shoes and a beer each which he juggled over, turning back to Ryan and smirking. “Oh I thought you were just in babysitting duty or something.” He joked, putting Tayla’s drink down for her and passing her her shoes, he sat down himself and shoved his on.

Riley nudged her friend in the side, "Tyla behave yourself!" she said with a giggle, but she was also curious because Mila looked a lot younger than she had expected her to be. "the boys are back!" she sang as she took her shoes from Elijah and wriggled her feet into them. "I'll go first, " and with that she headed up and took her turn.

Ryan felt like he had just choked on his own breath when Stephan made the babysitting commented, "aren't you a jokester today," he said with a small laugh and an eye roll. He was going to brush the comment off for now but if they kept going he was definitely going to have to have a word with his friends, "here you go," he said with a smile to Mila as he passed her the bowling shoes before taking a seat next to her. "didn't miss me too much I hope?" he said only loud enough for her to hear as he changed his shoes.

Mila felt really really awkward now and it was obvious these two women were bitchy as hell when they were together. She just shrugged and nodded. “Yes it was..” she said simply. There was no point in lying about it. Thank god ryan came over and she grabbed his hand, frowning up at him. “You have no idea how much I missed you.” She said it quietly, so the girls wouldn’t hear. Taking her shoes from him she slipped out of her docs and shoved the clown shoes on instead, taking her drink and taking a big swig of it. This was going to be one hell of a long night.

Stephan just laughed to himself. “Man you know I’m just playing, she’s a little hottie, you’ve done yourself good.” He has been a ladies man in his younger years but now he had Tayla, he definitely didn’t need anyone else in his life. Plus anything was better than Ryan’s ex, Kelly. He went back over and placed their drinks down, kissing Tayla on the lips before he changed into his shoes and sat down by her. They were a very competitive couple so he couldn’t wait to win.

Pressing a kiss to Mila's lips once they had both finished putting their shoes on he smiled, "well I promise I won't go anywhere other than up to take my shot" and with that he was taking his turn at the pins.

Talya plopped herself down on the seat next to Mila after her fourth go and she smiled brightly, that fake ever so interested in gossip smile. "so tell me how long have you two been a thinggg? how did it happen! I want to know everything."

Mila took a few go’s and actually it wasn’t going too badly, she wasn’t losing anyway which was good, cos no one needed to see her being a sore loser, that was for Ryan only. She was so grateful that he was showing her affection too, even in public. He’d really listened to her and it was paying off. She turned her head to Tayla, taking a sip from her drink, raising an eyebrow at her question. “What are you, the town encyclopaedia?” She asked. “It’s been like, nearly two years now. He was a great teacher and well.. we just fell in love.” She told her. She didn’t know how much Ryan would want her to say, about his wife and the divorce.
