Arabella watched Cole out of the corner of her eye, and watched him approach some guy. Although she had approached this guy, whose name she had recently found out to be Caleb, she really didn't want him chatting up some skanky girl. Okay, she wasn't skanky but calling her skanky made her feel better. Pressing her lips together in a firm line, she attempted to focus her attention on Caleb but watched as he excused himself to meet his girlfriend. Okay. Now that was embarrassing. She closed her eyes for a brief moment, hoping Cole didn't find out, and took a long swig of her beer before aiming to exit the kitchen. As she passed Cole, she hung her head down low and cursed herself for not leaving her hair down. If her hair had of been down she could have hid behind it.
Joey smiled and talked to a lot of people, looking around. All of his friends were basically paired up and looked as if they were in deep conversation and he didn't want to intrude. He sighed heavily, and walked to the kitchen and picked up a bottle of vodka. She'd broken her side of the deal, so he might as well attempt to break his side of the deal. He swigged the beer and sighed, walking over to a group of girls and giving them his signature charming, lopsided grin and watched as they swooned. This was just routine to him now. He didn't even have to try; he was starting to lose interest in it now, it just wasn't as fun.
