Dymitrius chewed on the inside of his cheek. He had to have some control now and not lash out, like he would have six months ago. He did have sympathy for her, she didn’t exactly fit in with many people round here because she was so damn independent and that wasn’t a tribe mentality. His eyes averted back down to her and he raised his eyebrows. “I’ve told you before little one, I trust you. It’s him I don’t trust, his intentions are all bad, he’s the devil for fuck sake, of course I don’t trust him.” He shrugged, his eyes going to the tv to distract him for a little while as he thought. “I just don’t think it’s the best thing you could be doing right now.. it’s clear he’s having a strong influence on your dark magic.” He shrugged. How was he supposed to feel when his companion was hanging around with the dark lord himself.
Gabbie had to hold her laughter back, Connor didn’t know the meaning of being cold and thankfully his dazzling good looks and charm had distracted the lady enough for her to just giggle like a school kid and turn away, and Gabbie raised her left eyebrow at him. “Look at you mr lady charmer, maybe I should watch out..” she teased, leaning up to kiss him gently. She then took his hand and they walked around the area for a little bit longer, but already the sun was beginning to set and she looked up at the dim sky.. “snow.. I smell snow..” she whispered. And as if by magic, a snow flurry came heading their way and falling from the sky, a small snowflake landing on her nose and she scrunched her face up. “This place truly is magical.” she couldn’t believe how amazing it was.
