The way Dymitrius seemed to take in everything around them was rather fascinating, seeing him in this natural habitat must make him feel alive. Alowing to a stop she looked over to where he was pointing, "and what would happen if you went into their territory?" She asked, moving to stand in front of him, closer to the enemies territory with a cheeky smirk on her lips.

Connor had one hand comfortably on the wheel but his right hand was positioned on Gabbies leg, it was a rather natural position and he liked knowing she was safe and sharing that physical connection made him comfortable. He followed the directions she was giving him and they were making good time. Thankfully they shared a somewhat similar taste in music and when the high-school musical bops came on they were dueting like professionals. "Right here.." he repeated as he headed in that direction and there was the carpark before the first waterfall, "i smell a waterfall'" he teased, copying Gabbie from the night prior for being able to smell the snow.

Gabbie had one leg crossed over the other and then his hand on her thigh was the cherry on the cake, and she rested her hand over his, stroking delicately up and down his hand. It may have looked possessive but it was what she always needed from him, that closeness, it made her feel safe when things weren’t going as straight forward as they hoped. As they got closer the excitement was bubbling away inside of her and she couldn’t wait to jump out and explore what there was to offer. Turning her head to him she grinned, shoving his arm gently which had zero effect on him. “You’re so lame.” She stuck her tongue out, jumping out once he’d pulled up and going round to his side, standing right next to him like the good little wife she was. There was loads of tourist groups but they had the freedom to roam for however long they wanted.

Connor didn't even flinch when she jabbed her elbow into him, it was as if a feather had touched his skin which of course wouldn't hurt at all, "your lame husband who you need to show a bit more respect too," he winked. Driving the car into a parking space he straightened them up before turning the engine off and they got out in a hurry, ready to explore. Throwing his backpack over his shoulders he slung his arm around her as they headed towards what appeared to be the best place to start. "Now no dangerous selfie moments, I've read a lot of horror stories about people slipping and .. well yeah just stay in a safe spot okay." He said in a protective voice.

Gabnie felt her cheeks go a wild colour and she gazed up at him, biting down on her bottom lip softly. “Sorry wolfie.” she grinned again and nuzzled into his side as they walked along, straight past the tourist groups who were getting the lame story that they liked to sell and instead she headed along the path, to the edge of the cliff, which opened up to the gigantic waterfall and she gasped, letting go of his hand carefully so that she could step just a little closer. She was a weird one, going to new places and talking to new people petrified her, but standing on the edge of a cliff staring down at a waterfall? It had her heart racing in the most wonderful way. She turned to him and grinned. “If we go over there and head down, I’m sure this is the one where you can stand behind the waterfall.” She pointed over to it.

Connor gazed down at his beautiful angel as she used his little nickname and he couldnt help the grin on his lips, "I know you are," and with that he pressed a kiss to her head. There was a lot of tourists groups wearing silly matching hats and teachers and he chuckled to himself as they squeezed passed. Heading along the path towards the waterfalls opening he let out a wow, taking in how beautiful their surroundings were. Looking over to where she had pointed he saw a few people descending and he nodded, "well then why are we wasting time standing on front of it," he joked.

She had to be close for him to be able to do that but he just couldn’t spot her. Maybe she’d camouflaged herself. pausing in his tracks, lifting his head to the sky. The moon was already out.

Gabbie looked back at the tourists and raised her eyebrows. “Damn it, I wish I had come up with that idea, we could have looked really cool on this holiday.” She teased him, taking his hand and leading him around to the other side of the cliff face, it was like a big dome shape. There was a set of man made stairs made in the cliff and holding onto Connors hand maybe just a little tighter than she needed to, Gabbie headed down the stairs with him. The noise of the waterfall getting louder, almost deafening. The tranquility was overbearing though and as she got to the ground, she felt her eyes tear up. Shaking her head. “It’s just so beautiful..” she said quietly, quickly rubbing under her eyes with her thumbs.

Connor thought just for a second that Gabbie was being serious and he opened his mouth to argue the notion but then he saw the look on her face and knew then she was simply pulling his leg, "wouldn't catch me dead looking like that Gabbie, I'd sooner move in with your mother and brother." And that was one of his worst nightmares. The pair descended the stairs at a slow and steady pace so that neither of them went for a trip all the way down. The waterfall was getting louder and once they were behind it he had finally adjusted to the volume. If he was hunting in this area that waterfall would have ruined any hopes of finding an enemy. Looking down at his wife he chuckled a little as he saw her dab under her eyes, "it really is stunning .. makes you want to just reach out to touch it."

Gabbie clapped her hands together excitedly. She was really good at faking her enthusiasm sometimes. “Wonderful! My mom already has the bunk beds set up for us and she will even let us share a towel if we ask really nice.” She told him. But everything seemed to disappear when she was in front of the waterfall and her eyes went wide, her hands reaching out like she was going to touch it but of course she wouldn’t, the sheer power of the water would batter her hands red raw. “I wish I wasn’t around humans right now.. all I want to do is fly..” she admitted. She never really got that urge too often, only when she was feeling really euphoric and right now, she was on cloud nine as they stood there together, taking it all in.

Sure she could easily have used her magic to evade him but part of her wanted to be caught.

Connor gave her a look that clearly detailed how much he would hate that experience and even though she was joking he was almost certain that her mum would allow them bunk beds at best but more than likely he would be in a kennel outback while she was locked in her bedroom. His eyes were now mesmerised by the falling water and he too was eager to touch it but his ability to survive doing so would probably make a lot of people faint. Listening to Gabbie he wrapped his arm around her waist as he stood slightly behind her, whispering into her ear, "I wish you could too.. you look so beautiful when you fly," and that was the truth. He found her somehow even more attractive when she showed off her wings but she really did it even when they were back home in the safety of their neighbourhood. Letting his arm drop away he took a few steps back and whipped the phone out to take a few photos of Gabbie and the waterfall as her backdrop.

"shall we head onwards and upwards to our next spot of the day little one?" he asked as he slid his hand into hers and pulled her close to him, planting a kiss onto her forehead. He couldn't seem to let her stray too far from him, for some reason he was feeling more protective than he ever had before. Perhaps that was because they were away in a foreign country.

Her hands between her thighs t keep them toasty warm. “Okay the next place is even more magical.” She began to direct him.
