And with that, let sniggered as he heard her gasp and walked away, stopping once as he saw her cry into his friend's chest. He headed inside the art room and relaxed, feeling at home. The bell hadn't gone off but this was the one place where he felt sane, where he felt like he could be anything he wanted to be and not be judged. Where he was someone.
And there wasn't a single person in this room.

Toby walked inside, and strode towards his locker. Opening it, you could see that it was filled with cut outs of bands and singers that he liked. He looked over them all briefly before taking out a few books that would be required for the day and stuffed them inside his rucksack and then closed the door and turned around, leaning against it casually. He smiled politely at people as they passed, and watched as some smiled back but some simply narrowed their eyes at him; thinking that he was weird.
Toby had always been kind and polite. He didn't see why not. It didn't hurt to be nice to people; but unfortunately some people in this school didn't live by that principle.

Rosie had never been one to lie about what she thought; she'd always just come right out with what she was thinking.

Toby walked back outside once he'd finished at his locker, and looked around. He put his hand over his eyes to shield the sun that was just starting to make an appearance. He smiled slightly as he saw people stood in groups and he tried to see if there was anyone that he could approach and talk to while he waited for the bell. He noticed Adrian, who was in a selection of his classes, and walked over. "Hiya. You're here earlier than usual." he said, raising an eyebrow.

He didn't speak much to either of them but was happiest on Art because it was his favourite subject, a chance to escape who he really was. He felt something boil up inside of him but he didn't let it show. Eventually, he walked up to them, not knowing why. He just felt alone and wanted someone to talk to.
"Hi...Ophelia, Rosie, Cascada." He grinned as he remembered all their names and looked up at the sky. "Nice day, huh?"

Toby noticed a gathering over by the wall, and decided to join. He knew most of the people there, and even though he wasn't exactly close to all of them it would be nice to make an effort with him. Joining the crew, he grinned widely. "Hi guys. I'm Toby, by the way; just in case you didn't know." he said, introducing himself and giving a small wave to the people in the circle.

Cascada watched Jack walk away and shouted after him. "Jack, wait!" She shouted, wanting to run after him. But she knew Jack's stubborn-like nature and wouldn't talk things him. She frowned and turned back, giving a quick hi to the boyin standing next to her. She looked at Rosie as sighed. 
"No offence," Cascacda started, watching in the direction where Jack walked off in. "But that was uncalled for." She saw the look on Rosie's face and raised her hands up in surrender. "I mean I get that he's an asshole sometimes but you just don't get him, Rosie. Jack works...differently. He might have upset that girl but there was a reason, surely. He does things with purpose. Maybe he made her upset so one of his friends would comfort her, ever think of that?" 
She started to fidget with her bracelets and then shook her head, running a hand through her hair. "Look, all I'm saying is that the guy has problems...so give him some space."
