TJ froze as he heard the door quietly unlock and slowly open. He knew straight away that she was being extra careful as to not wake him and this put him on edge. He stepped away from the counter, his body turning to face the doorway as he saw her walk quickly past. His brow furrowed and he walked out the room, to her. "Auden, where have you been?" He felt a bit like a father checking up on a rebellious daughter, as his arms folded stubbornly across his chest.

Cole reached the house and, just like the previous night, didn't bother to knock. He strode in and pulled off his coat, the door swinging shut behind him. "Honey, I'm home!" He called out, in his best 'proud-husband-and-father' voice. He walked into the living room, where MTV was playing in the background. The smirk that was splashed across his face faded quickly when he noticed the red mark across her cheek. He frowned, his head tilting slightly to the side. "What's that on your cheek?"

Auden frowned once she heard his voice behind her. Her feet halted and she turned slowly on her heel to face him, using the extra time to think of an excuse. From the way he was stood and the expression on his face, he reminded her of her father. He'd given her almost the same expression TJ was giving her now every time she returned home late. "Um, I went out for a jog...I wasn't feeling well...so...jogging." She nodded her head before jogging in place for emphasis. She tried to remember the last time she'd gotten proper exercise.

Aislin shook her head at his greeting before turning her head to the doorway as he entered the living room. Her eyebrows rose and her shoulders stiffened when he asked her about her cheek. She found it kind of embarrassing actually, she'd let Max get off pretty easy. "Nothing, I fell out on the balcony..." She nodded her head before turning back to her show. "How was your night then? With Jade." It was meant to be only a topic changer however the question had played over and over in her head. Had he gone back with her after the kiss?

TJ could have almost laughed if it hadn't been for the bad feeling now growing inside of him. He rolled his eyes. "Have you forgotten how long we've been together or something? You haven't done any sort of exercise since you were in high school." No matter what it was, it couldn't be good. She wouldn't be lying point blank to his face, although he was quite glad that she was a bad liar. He softened his face and his tone as he walked toward her, his hands resting on her arms. "Just tell me where you've been."

Cole raised an eyebrow and slowly walked toward her, taking a seat on the sofa. He draped his coat across the arm of the sofa and rolled his eyes at the question. "I'm not that big of an arse hole. Kiss you and then go and shag her? No, not exactly how I roll. Close but not exactly." He smirked and shook his head. "I dropped her off at her house when I left here. Why, is that what got you through the rest of the night with lover boy?" He still wasn't exactly sure what she meant by Max leaving, so this was his way of dropping the hint.

Auden stopped jogging once his hands rested on her arms. She felt too guilty to look into his eyes. The guilt hadn't come from the decision she'd made but more so from not sharing it with him before going through with it. She knew that once she told him, she'd start something that would lead to an incredibly drawn out argument. "I don't think I should... It doesn't matter." She sighed before turning and continuing onto the bedroom.

Aislin shook her head as a smirk formed on her lips, her eyes dropping to the remote control in order to keep from laughing at his joke. "That's pretty sad Cole. If I were you I would have shagged her. She's pretty hot." She said, her pitch dropping a few as she tried to put on her best manly voice. She scowled after he brought up Max. "Lover boy and I are done. He asked what had gone on, I told him and he got pretty ballsy." She frowned as she recalled what he'd said as well as the moment he raised his hand to slap her.

TJ raised his eyebrows as she spoke and made for the bedroom. He watched as she went, his hands raising to scratch at his forehead. He was so lost as to what to do, wondering what it was that she had done. He shook his head and followed her to the bedroom. "Regardless of whether you should, you sort of need to now. You're worrying me." His brow furrowed as he watched her.

Cole nodded his head, looking at the television. "Yeah, she has a wicked bod, I must say. " He smirked before she mentioned Max. The smirk grew wider as she said they were finished. He reached out and put his hand across her boob. He lay it there for a couple of seconds before moving it away. "I'm gonna say that was a test to make sure it's true but we both know that isn't the case." He figured if they were still together, she'd have moved his hand, since Aislin was a good girl and the guilt of kissing would have made her stop him. He browsed on her words again. "Max, ballsy? I don't think they've ever been in the same sentence."

Auden took a seat on the edge of the bed, stretching her legs out in front of her. She figured she would have to tell him,  knowing that it would one day be obvious that she wasn't pregnant. But she couldn't very well put it out there directly, that would only make her feel like more of a monster for doing it behind his back. "Alright...let's say I'm short of something that I had yesterday. Um...it has to deal with a clinic...um..." She trailed off, sucking in a deep breath as she noticed that the more she went on, the more it seemed like she was a making a joke out of the situation.

Aislin raised her eyebrow once his hand had rested on her boob, not moving it because she was confused otherwise she would have pushed him off of the sofa. "Oh, but last night he was. Told me I was ridiculous and then went on to slap me. That takes a lot of balls...Pretty impressed." She nodded her head as she looked at the television.

TJ hovered in the doorway as he watched her struggle to tell him what was wrong. His brow only furrowed more at what she was saying, it wasn't making much sense. The clinic? He shook his head. "Short of something at the clinic, what?"

Cole was still pretty pleased with the boob thing so when she mentioned him slapping her, he rolled his eyes. "You're kidding, right?" He genuinely thought she was. One, Max would never touch a girl like that. He'd never even touch a man like that, so. Two, Max would be in the same spot he did it in, in a pool of his own blood.

Auden hadn't thought that she would have had to spell it out for him. She bit her lip as she reached up and played with her hair. "I went through with my decision." The words hung between them, and a silence fell as she gave him time to think on them.

Aislin leaned back into the sofa, making an attempt to make herself more comfortable. "I wish. Then I wouldn't be walking around with this shit on my face." She gestured towards the bruise on her face before setting her hand back down. "I feel stupid. I missed out on a perfect opportunity of throwing a kettle at his head." She smirked as she pictured the scene.

It suddenly smacked TJ in the face, as he realised what she was actually speaking of. His brow furrowed more as he glanced down to her stomach. There wasn't any difference whatsoever but it still made his stomach turn. He reached up to rub his forehead, his head shaking slowly. "Why would you do that, Auden? While I slept... to sneak out and..." He pursed his lips, feeling incredibly sad for what he's now lost.

Cole's face fell as he realised she was being serious and he turned to face her properly, taking her face quickly into his hands. "Are you ok, does it hurt?" He looked at the bruise, gently running his finger over it. He dropped his hands and frowned. "Do you want me to go and talk to him?" He knew talk meant hurt but that didn't really matter to him. He'd have killed Max if he'd have touched any girl, but Aislin? No, that wasn't possible.

Auden watched as he came to grips with the realization that she was no longer pregnant. The disappointment as well as the hurt that passed over his face pained her and she looked away from him, not wanting to see anymore of it. "It's my body and I don't want a child...not now anyway." Her shoulders raised as she started to trace circles on her lap, preparing for the worst.

Aislin winced as his finger ran over the bruise. "It's sore but it's not too bad." Her eyebrows raised as she looked at him, shaking her head slowly at his suggestion. "No. There's no point in solving it. We're down and I'm sure that he's too much of a coward to do it to someone else." She moved her face away from his hands, Max's words still circling through her head.
