She admitted, looking up at him."O-only if you want to  be with me.. officially." She looked down, although he'd already admitted that he liked her,  she was afraid of rejection.

He held her hand in his and made sure she gathered all of her things before they went outside and hopped on his bike. He helped her slide her helmet on after he put his on and then they were off to the malt shop.

Bella smiled softly as he kissed her and nodded. She held onto him as they pulled off, burying her face in his back. She was happy that she was finally with Nate.. He treated her like a princess, and she adored him. Not only as a best friend but as a boyfriend.

Nate drove his bike towards the malt shop and parked his bike outside as close to the door as he could. He got off and helped Bella off before they went inside, hand in hand. The line was longer than he had expected, which was good because it gave him time to think about what drink to order. He had made it his goal as a kid to order something different every time, and he planned to honor tradition. "What do you think you'll order?" he asked Bella, looking down at her as they took a few steps forward. "I think I'll try the black raspberry shake this time. I know the black raspberries are in season and they always use fresh fruit, so it should taste great."

Bella smiled softly as they walked hand and hand. She bit her lip as they stood on line, looking at the options."Hm.. I think I'll get the same but with blueberries mixed in." She looked up at him."I love this place.." She giggled and glanced at the door as kids from school started coming in.
