She glanced to make sure all the books were inside it, then she grabbed her car keys and left the house figuring that Ashton was already at the school. She started her jeep and backed down the drive way.

Anderson bit his lip, letting out a soft sigh as he reached the schools parking lot, exhausted. Stella was walking in to school and then she heard her phone ring it was her mom something tragic happened so she couldnt make it to school and with everything happens she had no time to tell Liam

Kiara: rushed to her culinary class. She sat down but realized her friend Stella was not there today.  She shrugged figuring she was just late like usual, but after time went by she began to worry. She took her phone out of her bag when the teacher stepped out of the class and texted Stella, hey where are you? everything okay? She managed to send that before the teacher walked back in with the assistant principal. Kiara wasn't even surprised with the recent threats to the school. There's probably going to be a hue assembly about it.
