jonah, at first glance, seems like your average flamboyant gay. this, he wouldn't deny. he's flirtatious, handsy, loves physical contact and intimacy, and can always be caught trying to worm his way into someone's bed for the night. he's also pretty self-aggrandizing— coming off as egotistical with how much he loves to brag about his looks, personality, or whatever trait he's pushing that day. naturally charismatic, he seems most at home socializing with others, whether that be in a bar, club, or elsewhere. he loves fashion, being a vegetarian, and the color pink.
however, all these things only begin to scratch the surface.
that isn't to say jonah's a terribly complex individual. his wants, needs, hopes, and dreams are simple. he likes everyone and hates conflict. he's the type of person who wants nothing more than to be happy. but for all his socializing, jonah is surprisingly private. he talks circles around himself, using his outgoing persona and humor to deflect attention away from what matters. he keeps people at arm's length, running as soon as they get too close for comfort, and hides everything behind a laugh so practiced it always sounds genuine.
jonah, in truth, has too many issues to count. he's terrified of others finding out.
he'd much rather be that annoying, flamboyant person he makes himself out to be than the person he really is.
