yeah, so, I'm in the mood to do a rehab/detention centre for troubled teenagers.

no rules, just write quite a bit? c: oh, and add drama!

Name: Arabella / Joey
Age: 17 / 18
Looks: www.neutronstarpictures.weebly.com
Reason: Arabella is pretty troubled, to say the least. All throughout her childhood she switched from care home to care home, from one foster mother to the next. They always got tired of her though, and shipped her off to the next lucky parents. Despite her sweet name, Arabella is a bit of a rebel. She used to always sneak out, get stoned and drunk to forget her problems. On top of that, she thinks about suicide quite often. She is sick of this life. / Joey is a sex-addict.  He can't help it, he just likes girls. He always sleeps around, never seeing the girl again. He drinks and does drugs just like most people. On top of that, he always gets into fights. Pretty bad fights too. In the last fight, the other guy was put into hospital.
Other: on the site.

Arabella was currently sat in her miniscule bedroom that she had been given while she was in rehab. It was a box room; even worse than the ones that her numerous foster parents had provided for her. She walked over to the window, which was covered by bars, and gripped them with her hands and rested her face against them; absorbing in the coolness. They could have at least gave her a view instead of making her stare at shitty bars all day and night long. Walking back over to her bed, she groaned and kicked her suitcase and watched as the zip popped open and her clothes piled out. Yep. Her foster parents couldn't even provide her with a decent suitcase. Looking around, she frowned. She went over to the tiny mirror that was on the wall; they weren't trusted with anything bigger, even though Arabella was pretty sure she could do just as much damage with this mirror as she could with a huge one. She shook her head in disdain and peered at her reflection; her deep brown eyes were surrounded with kohl eyeliner and her curly blonde hair cascaded down her back. She appeared sweet and harmless, but she wasn't. She rolled her eyes, something she did often, and sat on the bed; picking up the programme she had been handed when she had arrived. The rehab centre and arranged a get together for all of the new patients, so they could introduce themselves. Like she cared why anyone else was here, or what their problems were.

Joey reluctantly pulled himself out of their car, and leaned against the black coat with his arms folded across his chest. He frowned as his parents exited the car as to say goodbye to him and he stood there stiffly as they encased him with their arms. He nodded and looked away, and picked up his suitcase out of the boot and watched as they drove away. Shitheads. He currently felt a deep pit of hate for them; how could they send him to this place? How could they just get rid of him, simply because he liked drugs, alcohol and mainly girls? He narrowed his eyes and shook his head, before rolling his suitcase behind him. He allowed the guards to do all the 'necessary' procedures which involved checking him for any banned substances and Joey kept a blank expression on his face all throughout. Once finished, he breathed a sigh of relief, thankful to get away from everyone and into his room. He began unpacking as soon as he was in there, and threw his clothes messily into the wardrobe and drawers that they had ever so kindly provided him with. The programme that he had been handed was currently screwed up on the table, and it listed the events that they would have to participate in for the following few weeks. Fun. First on the list was a meet up. Joey rolled his eyes disdainfully, before walking out of the door and walking down to the room where the meet up would occur.

Arabella perched on the edge of her bed for a while, simply staring at the wall. She closed her eyes and inhaled through her nose rather deeply, a technique that she had been told to do while she saw her various psychologists and counsellors. It never really worked, but she needed calm and tranquillity right now. She opened her eyes again and exhaled deeply through her mouth before standing up and punching the wall in anger. "It doesn't even fecking work!" She screeched, and put her head in her hands and ran them down her face slowly before standing up. She kneeled down on the floor where the contents of her suitcase had spilled and picked up her signature animal hat and tugged it over her curly hair. She wore it wherever she went nowadays. She didn't know why, but she found comfort in it. She looked down at her appearance; doc martens, an oversized shirt and some black skinny jeans. She shrugged, knowing she didn't look too good but she couldn't really give a crap right now. Opening the door, she slammed it shut behind her; taking comfort in the loud slam it made. Arabella liked loud noises, it made her feel better. It helped her channel her anger. Stomping downstairs, she stood outside the hall where they had been ordered to go for the meet up and she leaned against the wall casually with one foot against the wall and one down on the floor.  She bit her lip as people started to gather around; although she tried to portray that she had a hard exterior, she felt really self-conscious in large crowds. She often compared herself to others; but she told no-one that. People viewed her as tough, and she intended to keep it that way. She hung her head down low and let her wild, untamed hair frame her face and hide her from everyone. She could save the tough act for later, when they were inside. Yeah. That was what she would do.

Joey watched as crowds began to gather outside the meeting room and he examined everyone in turn. There was a scruffy guy sat against the wall on the floor, biting his thumbs nervously, with his hair sticking to his face. Then there was a girl, a hot girl at that, with bright red hair that stopped just above her chest who was tall. Okay. Maybe she could fuel his sex addiction while he was here. Sure, sex was forbidden but when didn't he break the rules? In his opinion, rules were meant to be broken. Averting his gaze from the hot redhead, he looked at the others who were stood around; some shy and reserved, some bold and confident that couldn't wait to flaunt themselves in front of everyone. He chuckled to himself; they looked a right crowd. If everyone here was just as 'messed up' as his parents claimed he was, he was in for a right couple of weeks. He breathed a sigh of relief as the doors opened to where everyone was supposed to be gathering and he raised his eyebrows as he saw the seats arranged in a circle. Circle time. He used to do that as a kid, not a flipping 18 year old for God's sake. He took a seat, and was glad to be inside rather then out there crammed against a bunch of weirdo's. He raised his eyebrows, and leaned back in his chair with his arms folded against his chest casually as he gazed at everyone confidently. Some of the people met his eye, whereas some refused to even acknowledge him.

Arabella sighed happily as the doors were opened and she walked in to the room, this time keeping her head up high and managing to portray a confident air about herself. She sat down in her seat, and crossed one leg over the other; despite being described as a rebel, she still preferred to be lady-like in her posterior. She looked around as more and more faces piled into the room, beginning to feel more nervous each time a new person walked in through the double doors. She bit her lip, and tapped her leg on the floor lightly; both nervous habits that she tended to possess. She didn't like being around lots of people because it made her feel inferior to them, knocking off her confident attitude. Her attention was grabbed by one particular guy, however. He wore a hoodie and gave off a good vibe; she got the impression that he didn't really care what people thought of him. She eyed him carefully, thinking of all the reasons why he might be here. Fighting? No, from the looks of him he didn't look like he was the fighting type of guy. But then again, maybe he had hidden depths. Or he could possibly be in this hellhole for drugs? That didn't seem right either. Arabella stopped trying to guess and smiled at him as he introduced himself. "Hi, I'm Arab-" She started, before her voice trailed off as she was interrupted by someone who had began speaking; trying to capture everybody's attention. She raised her eyebrow as she watched people clapping, and bit her lip as he fell into easy conversation with them. She groaned as he announced they would have to introduce themselves, dreading the part where she would have to speak.

Joey sat, staring into the distance as the circle slowly began to fill until all of the seats were filled up by one mental person or another. He shook his head; everyone here seemed to be pretty weird, and unsociable. He sat, with a smirk on his face not caring if he looked conceited. As far as he could tell he was by far the most normal person in the room up until then. He chuckled as he heard a girl close to him scolding a guy for smirking at her and nodding approvingly. Feisty. He liked that in a woman. Usually he never really got to know a girl anyway, or any of that said girl's qualities, but he knew he liked feistiness. Just made a woman hotter, in his opinion. And according to Joey, his opinion was pretty valuable. As the counsellor spoke and announced that they should introduce themselves, he grinned to himself. Although he knew by the looks on some of these people's faces that they were nervous and didn't want to participate in this activity at all, Joey was excited. He could get to know some of the hot ones faces, and knew who to avoid and who not to avoid. However, he knew it might be inevitable that he would have to speak to a lot of these people on a daily basis at least he would know who the crazy ones were. He nodded as the counsellor pointed at him, gesturing for him to introduce himself. Standing up, Joey looked around at everyone in the circle in turn and smirked a little. "Hi. I'm Joey. You'll all probably get to know me pretty soon, but I guess I have to speak." he chuckled. "I'm here because my parents claimed that I like sex too much. Which is bullshit," he said, receiving a very no-nonsense look from the counsellor, "because who can like sex too much?" he asked, raising both of his eyebrows now. "And I like drugs and alcohol. Oh, and I've got into a lot of fights." He said, before sitting down, laughing as everyone looked at him dumbfounded.

Arabella watched as the people before her went. She didn't pay much attention to the one who was called Joey; all the usual stuff. Besides, fuelling his sex addiction in this place was going to be pretty difficult. There were cameras stationed in every room so the staff could patrol the in-patients pretty much all the time. They'd be punished if they did anything that betrayed the rules and regulations; probably community service or something equally as boring. She was pretty impressed by the girl who went after him, however; she found it pretty inspiring the reason she was here. The reason she was here seemed much more... real, in a way. She found herself wondering if she would be able to find the murderer though; it would be pretty hard. Unless you had the drive. As Race, the guy sat beside her, stood up she eyed him carefully. She was intrigued to find out why he was here, but she didn't actually find out. She watched as he stuttered and shook, and she looked up at him and tried to capture his attention so she could give him a small smile; but he didn't once look her way. As the people around her burst into cruel laughter, she glared at them all, hoping she portrayed a tough demeanour so that they would back off. She listened as the counsellor ridiculed the patients for laughing at Race, and then nodded as she was told to stand up. She watched as every single person in the room stared at her, some looking her up and down. She wondered what judgemental thoughts were crossing their minds, what they were all thinking. "Well, I'm Arabella. When I was younger, my parents abandoned me. I was sent from care home to care home, from foster parent to foster parent. I drink to forget my problems. I sneak out so I can get drunk away from the house. Eventually the foster parent would have enough of me, and send me to the next lucky carer." She shrugged non-committedly and sighed. "I guess it's safe to say I'm pretty messed up." She said, before looking at the counsellor to see if she'd said enough. When the counsellor agreed she walked out of the room with intent to find Race. When she saw him slumped against the wall, she sat down beside him and grinned. "I never properly got to introduce myself to you. I'm Arabella." She said, holding out a hand for him to shake.

Joey watched as she stood up, intrigued. He listened to her attentively, and nodded approvingly once she'd revealed why she was there. He didn't expect that at all; he was blatantly impressed. He expected her to have some other problem, like drinking or something similar. Not after someone's blood. When she leaned in to whisper to him, he felt her hot breath against his cheek and he smirked and leaned closer to her. "Promise?" he winked, not entirely certain whether she was kidding or not. He leaned back in his seat, his arm draped across the back and looked her up and down. She was pretty hot, if he was being honest. "So. You're planning on killing someone?" he whispered, raising an eyebrow. "Hot." he winked once again, before averting his attention to the guy standing up and stuttering. He didn't laugh along with the others in his room but he looked away, feeling embarrassed for the kid. He found himself zoning out as all the other in-patients spoke, finding it all awfully boring and repetitive. He let out a groan of relief as the counsellor announced the session was over and he waggled his eyebrows at the red-head he'd saw earlier, but hadn't listened to as she had been talking so therefore didn't know her name. He looked back at Cora and stood up, looking down at her. "Fancy hanging out? A walk of the grounds maybe? If i'm going to be stuck in this place, I might as well spend my time with someone deserving like you." he chuckled and held his hand out for her to take. He didn't expect her to refuse his offer; after all, he was pretty irresistible. As he waited for her response, he ran his hand over the stubble that spread over his chin and raised his eyebrows expectantly.

Arabella smiled. "Hi, Race." She said, eyeing him. "Just to point out, I don't find your problems funny. People are just really bitchy." She shrugged. "Ignore them." She was intrigued by this guy. She found his ramblings oddly cute, and actually really wanted to get to know him a little more and explore his personality. Arabella had never really been the judgemental type; what was the point in judging someone before you got to know them? She wouldn't form an opinion until she had something to actually judge the person on. Arabella looked up as the girl who's name she remembered to be Cora or something similar approach Race. She smiled up at her, before averting her gaze and attention back on Race; not realising her hand was still outstretched. Laughing along with him, she shook his hand; making direct eye contact as they shook. Pulling her hand away, she dropped it limply back into her lap. She wondered what he was thinking as he looked at her. She thought this guy seemed really nice and genuine, despite her trust issues. Due to having various parents during her life, Arabella had never learnt to trust people since she got thrown out in the blink of an eye anyway. Why would it be any different with this guy? She eyed him, wondering if it would be okay to trust him or if she'd just get hurt again. She listened to him attentively as he tried to ask her if she wanting to hang out, an amused smile on her face. As he stood up and walking away, she jumped up and jogged up to him; linking her arm through his and pulling him to a stop. "Hey, I never said I didn't want to." She said, smiling softly. "But I've got to warn you, I'm a pro at ice hockey." She said, grinning widely before unlinking her arm from his and walking in front of him to the games room.

Joey winked at her as she promised, and sat back with a smug smirk. He knew she wasn't being serious by her tone, but he could still relish in it if he wanted to. She had to think he was good-looking; because he was, and that wasn't him being vain. Okay, it was. But it was true. Anyone who could see comprehended that. As she turned around to speak to him, he raised an eyebrow and folded his arms across his broad chest. "Maybe. Maybe not. But you'll never know if you don't come along." he chuckled. "besides, don't act like you know my intentions. Your suspicions may be true, but you don't actually know me sweetheart." he replied casually, with an arched eyebrow as he stared directly into her bright eyes. She was attractive, there was no denying that. Obviously he had no intentions of actually getting involved with this girl - was her name Cora? - but he'd still like a bit of fun. No strings attached. Why was she making it so bloody difficult? He chuckled to himself as he walked away; this girl was proving a challenge. Although he would prefer it if she made it easy for him, he found challenges intriguing. And he was determined to win this one. Joey walked out of the gathering room, and wondered what he could do to amuse himself in this place. He groaned loudly, a few heads swinging around to look at him as he walked up the stairs; intending on going to his room. As he was walking, he caught sight of the challenge girl again. He moved in front of her, blocking her way, and raised his eyebrows. "You just couldn't get enough of me, could you? I knew it." he teased.

Arabella grinned as he jumped at her touch. She looked at him, noting how incredibly handsome he was. She also thought he was cute. Scolding herself for thinking those things, she tried to shove them out of her head. The closer she got to someone, the more she got hurt. That had been her motto pretty much all her life. "Of course I want to hang out with you. Why wouldn't I? You're cool." She smiled and then laughed along with him. "Trust me. I'm a master." She smirked and then unlinked her arm from his when they reached the games room. She looked around and smiled. "Not bad for rehab." She joked, and then watched as he pulled off his hoodie; revealing the band shirt. She nodded approvingly. "Good taste." She complimented him, giving him a thumbs up before pulling off her jacket and throwing it over his hoodie on the sofa. She followed him over to the table, standing at the opposite end and picking up her puck and paddle. "Ready. And don't go easy on me. This is going to be a proper game." She informed him, pointing her paddle at him as she spoke before her face broke out into a grin. Arabella had always been pretty competitive; not overly competitive though. She just found that annoying. She hit the puck slowly back at him as they conversed. She smiled and nodded. "Sure. I have nothing to be ashamed of, I guess." She said, looking at the puck before looking back up at him and continuing, "My parents abandoned me when I was just a kid. I got put into care homes, and then they gave me foster parents. I used to drink to forget things." She bit her lip. "I used to sneak out of the house, and quite often I thought I'd be better off dead." She admitted, sighing, before looking back up at him. "What about you? You never actually said why you're here."

Joey chuckled, intrigued by her as he watched her talk. He watched how her lips moved, even though it was pretty clear that he was staring at her full, red lips the whole time. He forced himself to look away, and stared into her eyes instead and chuckled. "Sure, my offer is still up." he nodded. "But what made you change your mind, missy? Just 10 minutes ago I was being rejected. I'm bruised." he teased, putting a hand over his chest where his heart should be and fake pouting. He tried not to laugh or grin, but a grin suddenly broke on his face and he waved his hand. "Nah, it's cool. I can deal with it." His eyes widened as she suggested that he wanted her and he licked his lips playfully. "That's right, I do want you." he spoke, interrupting her mid-sentence. He stood laughing, as she tried to dig herself out of the hole and then nodded. "Somewhere private." He nodded approvingly, looking at her and putting an arm around her shoulders and draping his arm just above her chest. "Sounds good to me." he chuckled, leading her down the stairs and out into the gardens. "Well. It's going to be hard to find some place private." he said, turning around and looking at the surveillance cameras positioned on the brick walls of the building. He shook his head disdainfully, before turning to her. "Seems they've got us under constant watch." he chuckled, and waved at the camera before flagging it off.

As he shrugged, Arabella sensed that he was uncomfortable with his past. She was about to stop him, inform him that he didn't have to tell her if he didn't want to. She knew some people were uncomfortable and embarrassed with their past. Arabella had learnt to confront her own, she'd kind of learnt to feel almost numb after being passed from one care home to another. It had exhausted her, getting to know new people again and again. Once she was 18, she could choose if she wanted to go to another or just make it on her own. She already knew which one she was going to choose, regardless of the types of consequences that she would have to face. She listened attentively as he told her about why he was here, and she tilted her head as she listened. She jumped as he hit the puck hard, and shot past her before she could hit it back. She picked the puck out of the box and placed it back on the table and hit it back. After he'd finished speaking, she let out a small sigh and placed her paddle down on the table and walked over to him; touching his shoulder with her hand. "I'm sorry about all that." She said, smiling a little. "It must have been hard, growing up like that." She said, biting her lip and sympathising. "If it's any consolation, I don't see why they bullied you. You're a great guy, so far." she complimented, smiling slightly. It was hard for her - she was never truly that trusting towards anyone, but this guy just made her want to trust him.

Joey looked at her as she asked him why he wanted her, and he simply just raised a thick eyebrow and stared at her like she was out of her mind. "Are you seriously asking that?" he retorted, and shook his head; clearly exasparated. "One. As you, and everyone else, already know I'm a sex addict." he said, counting it off on his finger. "Two - You're pretty hot. That's good enough for me." he said, grinning at her in a charming way as they walked outside slowly. He watched her as she surveyed the entire garden and he smirked. He was pretty distracted - and besides, it was a garden. It didn't capture his interest anywhere as near as much as Cora was right now. As she blurted out that they weren't going to hook up, he looked at her incredulously. "We're not?" he asked, dumbly, his mouth hanging open similar to that of a fish. "no fair, you teased me." he said, folding his quite muscly arms over his broad chest as he stared at her with an unreadable expression painted on his face. He deep down knew that she wasn't going to hook up with him, but he had still hoped that she would. He thought that his appearance would change her mind but obviously not. Man, this girl was probably going to be a challenge. He listened as she voiced the idea of being on good behavior  and he began nodding slowly. "That's actually quite a good idea. You're smart, and pretty. Bonus." he smirked, and looked down as she entwined her fingers with his and looked up at her face with a small smile playing on his lips.

Arabella smiled up at him. "Comforting you." she said simply, oblivious to the effect she had on him. "Sweet? Me? Those words don't usually go together." She whispered, letting him pull her into a hug. She'd never really been this close to a guy before, and even though she didn't want to - she couldn't deny it. She liked it. She slipped his arms around his waist and hugged him tightly, before feeling him shake slightly as he started to cry. "Race? What's wrong?" She asked, pulling away slightly and knitting her eyebrows together in confusion. She watched as he run away, feeling the slightest bit hurt. "Race!" She exclaimed, and bit her lip - pondering whether or not she should run after him. She went for the latter. She sat off at a little jog and watched him as he entered his room. She hovered outside his door, and eventually mustered up the courage to knock on it three times. She turned the doorknob but it wouldn't open the door. Locked. Letting out a loud sigh, she closed her eyes. "Race? Open the door? Please?" She asked, opening her eyes again and staring at the door intently. "I didn't mean to upset you, and I'm sorry if I came on a little strong. I didn't mean to." She spoke, still staring at the door. "If you want, I can just leave you alone. It won't hurt if you say that." She lied, knowing it would hurt her more than she wanted to admit.

Joey swung her hand as they walked, thinking how weird this was. He'd never just walked with a girl, holding her hand. Things had always progressed pretty quickly, him and the girl just having quick casual sex and then never speaking again. He looked down at her somewhat angelic face, framed by her pretty hair and let out a heavy sigh. He didn't know how to deal with just talking - it certainly wasn't in his area of expertise. He frowned as the voice over the intercom announced that they would have to be seperated and he smiled as she kissed his cheek, wanting to do much more than just that. "Okay. Bye." he nodded, watching her leave. He simply couldn't comprehend why girls and boys weren't allowed to eat together. He let out a low chuckle at how stupid this new rule was. He walked slowly over to the guys cafeteria, wondering when he would see this girl again. He walked in, and looked around at all the others guys sitting at tables; having already made friends. He rolled his eyes at how pathetic they all were, before grabbing a bottle of water and some pizza before sitting down at a table. He hoped that no-one would sit next to him and try and engage him in conversation; he couldn't be bothered with small talk at that precise moment.
