“I just don’t get it.” Five words. Fourteen letters. We grow up using this sentence, High school, Work, Lectures, University. It’s the words that either get us to understand something, or gets us in trouble because we weren't paying attention. But for seventeen year old Lara, It’s got more of a meaning to it. What doesn't she understand? What is it that’s got her mind so hooked on resolving a mystery? Well here it is.
Growing up, Lara Ashcroft was diagnosed with Schizophrenia. She was known to be a freak. Talking to ‘herself’ is a weird thing, right? But as she matured, what if the person she was talking to, was someone she had met in her past? Someone who had impacted her life so much, she can’t remove them from their memory after every single generation. No one is the one to believe in past lives, and meeting your soul mate in every life, but what is it that holds the person she trusts with everything, but for some reason, no one else can see until one night, she comes across the truth – he’s not human. He’s something else.
