So this is my attempt at a heartbreaking angst filled story. Yah.
Prologue.
Raven Smith was seventeen. Such a young age for such terrible things to happen to her.
Really, no age was reasonable, she just made it look easy. She pretended everything was fine when deep down, she didn't even know what tomorrow would bring.
I suppose it's the same for everyone- you live in a world that you may or may not live in tomorrow. You don't know if you'll walk outside and hear a loud bang echoing through your ears, you look down at your chest and see a blooming blossom of blood soaking up your skin, shirt and life. However, there was more of a chance for that to happen to Raven than to you.
Droplets of sweat formed on her forehead as she slept, her once loose and baggy t-shirt clinging to her tiny frame. Nothing would wake her up from this nightmare. She was living it.
"N-no..." she whimpered, tossing and turning multiple times, her ankles getting caught up in the sheets and duvet. "NO!" she screamed, rolling over once more and she fell off her bed, awaking with a shock.
She was fine, nothing was happening, everything was fine.
But it wasn't fine, not really, not for long.
