Molli sat on the tile floor of her bathroom, fiddling with the ring on her finger as she waited. She chewed at her bottom lip nervously as she glanced up at the clock to notice she had less than a minute left before her results would be ready. She drew in a few deep breaths and grabbed her cell phone off of the counter to dial Wesley when she was ready. She stood up and grabbed the stick out of the cup, holding it in her hand as she punched in Wesley's number and hit Send. When he finally picked up, she breathed a sigh of relief as she held the stick up next to the box. He asked her what was up, and she stood in silence for a few seconds as her eyes widened. "Wes, I've got good news," she began, a small smile spreading across her thin lips. "We are going to be parents! " she said joyfully, doing a little dance there in the cool bathroom. "We've been waiting for this day for a long time, I'm so happy!" she exclaimed, waiting for him to finally answer.
Anthony was on his way home from work, jamming to some Maroon 5 on the radio as he drove. It was a great day at work for him, which was quite unusual. He loved his job and the people there, but lately there was a lot of drama and he couldn't manage to stay out of it, no matter how hard he tried. He got off the correct highway exit and drove downtown toward the home that he shared with Lilliane. They had bought the place as their first home and planned to move once they started having children but he wasn't so sure he wanted to leave the area as it was where he grew up. He pulled into the driveway and got out of his Jeep, grabbing his work bag and the flowers he bought before walking into the house. He pushed open the front door and called out, "Lilly? Where are you? I brought you something!" He took off his coat and placed it on the rack by the door, glad he had brought the extra fabric as it was a bit chillier than usual that day. He walked down the hall and into the kitchen where he put down his bag, still in search of Lilliane.
