Meredith let out a sigh of relief as she walked into the home that she would be living in for the next few weeks. Until that moment, she hadn't realized how stressed she was about returning to college in the fall and it was nice to know that she could get away form it all. She pulled her luggage along behind her and was happy to find herself the first one in the house. She smiled as she passed the kitchen - it was probably going to be her favorite room; she loved to bake. When she walked into the first bedroom, her eyebrows furrowed as she realized that there was a small, wrapped present on each of the two beds. One read "Meredith" and the other "Taylor". Oh, how she hoped that she liked Taylor! She needed a best girl friend to run around with during her stay.

Jase climbed out of the cab and grabbed his duffel bag before heading inside. He had told himself all along that there was no need to pack a ton of stuff; he could buy most of his possessions once he actually got to the beach house. He walked inside and noticed that the home was expertly decorated - undoubtedly a woman's doing. This brought a smile to his face as he collapsed on the comfortable couch and stretched around a bit, still a bit cramped from the plane ride. He was glad to say that he was officially a resident of the Los Angeles beach area for the next couple of weeks. He walked into one of the bedrooms and found his name on a tiny green present on one of the beds. The other gift, pink with a purple bow, told him that his roommate was someone named Ever. What happened to having a man cave?

Walking past a room he saw a glimpse of a figure. Walking back he stood at the doorway and arched an eyebrow at the female. "May I help you?"

Jase jumped a few inches into the air when he heard a voice in the doorway. A wide grin appeared on his face as he sauntered over to her, he said, "Are you Ever, by any chance? I think there was a mix-up." He offered his hand as he introduced himself. "I'm Jase, and apparently we're supposed to be rooming together. I thought I was with Taylor?" Not like he was complaining or anything. Ever looked like a nice girl and all, but to be honest, he wasn't here just to be attached to one girl the entire trip. He planned on having a few one-night-stands and absolutely nothing of a serious nature while he was in Miami. However, it seemed as if Ever might complicate things. She seemed nice enough but not the kind of girl that he would usually go for. Of course, maybe it's time to teach an old dog some new tricks!

He questioned, knowing they probably didn't.

Jase shrugged his shoulders. He watched as she quickly debated opening the gift, then swiftly pulled a bikini out of her bag before heading out. "That was quick," he said to himself before turning to his own bags. He searched around inside his suitcase for a few minutes before pulling out a fresh change of clothes and heading to the bathroom that he would be sharing with Ever. He slipped his new clothes on and tossed the other ones into his dirty clothes bag before heading out and popping his head into Taylor and Meredith's room. "I'm Jase," he said with a warm smile. "Anyone interested in heading downtown for some shopping? I didn't bring much, and I'd like to celebrate tonight with a few drinks, if that's alright."
