Credit to: Anchors Away. You and your best friend are super close and nothing can really tear you apart. You guys do everything together. Until one day, she gets a boyfriend and you're stuck as the third wheel. You're still best friends, but you know how girls get when they get boyfriends. So, your friend, being the good best friend she is, decides to introduce you to her boyfriend's brother. Bother would be a more appropriate term. You think he is the most annoying person ever. So one day you, your best friend, her boyfriend, and her boyfriend's brother, all decide to take a trip for her eighteenth birthday. You go to a beautiful hotel in Hawaii, and it's no surprise that you two get stuck sharing a hotel room while you're best friend and her boyfriend get their own. You absolutely hate this guy. You guys are constantly fighting and nagging, but everyone seems to think you have a thing for each other. After getting relaxed in Hawaii, you decide to be friends and well, you start to fall for this moron. But what happens when he meets a girl and starts to rant and rave about how perfect she is? Will you speak up?
Your parents always tried to mix you with the best people possible, and that worked, until your third year of secondary school. Your parents were fairly well off, you lived in a nice enough house, and you were rarely short of money, but your mum and dad never seemed to notice you, they were always working or going out together. So your money never stopped you from making the worst kind of 'friends'. They were fine at first, but then, as you all got a little bit older, they began smoking, drinking, doing things you didn't even want to think about at that age, but of course, you wanted to fit in. You were in an abusive friendship, fueled by peer pressure. By the time you were sixteen, you had gotten in trouble with the police more times than you could count on your hands. It was pretty tough, you never even wanted it to happen. Then, one day, at a party, your friends abandoned you, you had no way of getting home. So you end up sitting outside, crying, you're completely hammered, you have no money, no coat and no way of getting home. So when some man stops his car on the road next to you and asks if you need a lift, you don't reject the offer. However, he drops you home, and spends about an hour talking to you outside your house as you waited for your parents to get home from some fancy meal. The next morning you wake up with a vague recollection of him, and a number on your hand.

Clea Renée had just arrived in her home town of Honolulu, Hawaii, mentioning it as the perfect place to host her best friend's 18th birthday party. Clea had flown in here alone as her best friend, Arielle, was already staying with her boyfriend and it was no surprise that they would be coming in together. They invited her too but she knew what girls were like when they suddenly got a boyfriend, and she didn't mind seeing as her best friend was happier than ever. Plus, Clea was always travelling by herself so it was fine. As she arrived to their chosen hotel ["Lani Moku", which translated to Heavenly Island], she took off her sunglasses and grinned at the receptionist as she greeted her in the local language. "Ah, you've booked this room?" Clea looked at the room the woman was pointing too and almost barfed at the description. She knew she was sharing with Aiden but in a suite that was described for couples? Was this a sick joke? "Oh I-" "Good!" The woman cheered, handing her the key with her her smiling eyes. "I hope you and your partner have the most luxurious and romantic stay at Lani Moku! The elevator is that way, dear." Clea wanted the ground to eat her up. It was one thing for sharing a suite with Aiden but another to be sharing the same bed and having a romantic stay with him? God help her. She would've talked to the lady about it but there was a long line of couples and families and friends in the line, so she grabbed her luggage and dragged it to the elevator, crossing her arms and waiting for anyone else to come in with her.
River Westwood was out spending the day with his little sister, Raquel, who had been allowed the day out from being stuck in the hospital all day. She was suffering from DCM, a heart disease where the left ventricle of your heart because baggy and the muscle therefore becomes weak. Because her state had caused her to live in the hospital, Rocky, as everyone called her, had to wear a mask over her mouth. It did get a few looks from strangers but hey, it was for her own safety, so that germs couldn't enter her system and cause more trouble. The two were at their last stop, looking through racks of dresses that were getting Rocky incredibly excited. She was only 14, but man did she have a passion for shopping. It seemed like hours and hours for when Rocky would take a handful of dresses, go into the changing rooms and ask for her older brother's opinion. Nothing was quite sticking out for either of them so Raquel was searching away whilst River was sat, looking around the shop and wondering when his sister would find something so they could both grab a bite to eat and get out of here.
