Pixie awoke abruptly from her alarm clock, ringing in the hour of 9 am. Rise and shine, time to get ready for work. Rubbing her eyes, she rolled over to the opposite side of the bed and slipped on her moccasins and proceeded to head to her closet. She pulled out her everyday uniform, a black button up polo with the hotel name on it and white tight pants. After getting dressed, she made her daily cup of coffee and read through one of the magazines she had laying on her table before she felt like leaving. Jake sat behind a desk that sat in his office, close to the dining area part of the hotel. He took another sip of coffee, reading the sports section of the newspaper. He sighed, standing up and walking out to see if any employees had shown up yet. He didn't hate his job, it was pretty fun sometimes, and he made good money. But sometimes he just wanted to move somewhere far away. But until then, this was a pretty sweet gig to be having at only 23 years old. He walked through the kitchen, greeting the cooks who were groggily turning on the stoves and preparing everything for the day.

However it was little too late, he was awake now and he struggled to get back to sleep once he was up. Opening one eye slowly, he registered the time on the small bedside clock. Little after 9am. He gave out another grunt of vague disgust before pushing himself up into a seated position.
