Declan tugged his sleeves down on the sweater he was wearing, he was a bit of a rebel and had gotten full sleeve tattoos when his school has a strict no visible tattoo rule. This only meant that from now, until he graduated, his wardrobe consisted of mostly sweater vests that gave him a preppy look. He looked at the time on his watch, which he never took off and gave a groan, "Why does school have to exist?" he asked himself as he adjusted his glasses. He picked up his bag from the ground and walked down to the kitchen where his father was making breakfast, they tried to eat as a family as often as they could. "Gotta skip this one pops, I have a test this morning that I want to review for." He said goodbye to the family and picked up his car keys and started up his car.
Olivia could hear her alarm go off, she had been hanging out with friends the previous night, and they hadn't gotten in until late. Her parents were very busy with work, and didn't seem to care about anything she did. In this case, she would shut off her alarm and just sleep the day away, but she had a unit test that she had to be present for or she would fail. She rolled herself out of the bed and let her body hit the floor, her cat got scared and awoke from his state of sleep. "Sorry Monkey, go back to sleep." She slipped on a pair of jeans and dug out an old shirt from her closet, she really wasn't in the mood for trying. She noticed the time and swore, she was going to miss her bus. Panic started to set in as she ran around her room and bathroom to get ready. Thankfully, the city bus passed right by her house so she could wait to the last possible second. And wait she did, because when she ran out of her house, the bus was just approaching the stop.
