@Ophelia Yes, I have heard before. It is probably a little bit different in Italy? My grandfather was Italian and I've been to Rome once (it was lovely there!) Like here people always try to get a seat by themselves at the bus (I am guilty of this), but in some other cultures people eagerly sit next to strangers! Hehe (:
Oh cool! Yeah, its lovely, I was raised in a little town outside rome (:
I know! And strangers dont even smile at people on the street? Its so unusual, in italy we kiss people on the cheek at every occasion hahaha!

And the first time I celebrated christmas in Norway was so weeeeird... In Italy we start eating early in the morning and continue until midnight, but the Norwegians I was with ate for like... an hour? And started at five??? So weird! Hahahaha
And we have a witch called " la befana", and she brings presents or coal the next morning, while you open presents right after dinner :ooo I wish I was a child in Norway, lucky you hahha!

Thank you so much, @Cannibalbaby and @Absolute  (:

@Ophelia That sounds wonderful! Yes, that's true. But I think that is mostly in the cities and towns, if you're in a smaller town outside it's more common to get smiles from strangers. The cultures are obviously very different though. :d I've never heard about "la befana" before! I thought you had Santa Claus also! Well, you learn something new every day hehe. (: Haha yes, as a child the best thing was opening the presents after dinner!
