Barefoot is the best am I rigth? No slippery socks, no itching, no tight shoes because of your socks, it's so freeing!

I see, I can understand why socks can be a bother in that case.
Look at it this way, maybe you'll get more friends? I can understand why it is a bit terrifying, I felt the same way too when I started a new school. But try to have an open mind, no expectations.
