I sometimes dont understand parent. Like, they love you so damn much, but sometimes they just dont understand anything

my parents are having a pretty hard time dealing with my problems (anxiety, sleep stuff, depression etc), and even though its been going on for years, i only feel like they now are starting to listen to what im saying, not just hearing lol
 
I really never understood the parents who's not surpotive of their kids education. Like, that shit is so important, u better encourage them!

Seriously! If I am passionate about something he should be supportive.
I know my mother is still supportive even though she had her stroke she is still the same person.

I can't even tell my dad about my chronic depression because he tells me "Put your worries on Jehovah"
and i am just like "Okay but like...that only goes so far. It doesn't actually solve the problem"

I so agree on that! Parents are there to support and help their kids down the right path. Not a path they decide, but a path the kid is passionate about, and if you want to get a good education, then damn, they should support that without hesitation

Another thing i don't really like, is when people use religion as a problem solver or an excuse. Like, no. Ofc Jehovah can't cure a depression. Maybe believing that he could help, would help a bit, but nope. I just dont believe in that, or think its right tbh
