in what sense?
I can see in how it has been a little transphobic at times, but idk about saying so? It could be me being a little ignorant as I am not transgender or anything but idk :/
rupaul has said that they don't want any transpeople on the show
so only cis men are allowed to do this
when drag was started as a part of the trans community

Season 2 it was revealed there was a transitioning woman (man -> woman) on the show and Rupaul fully supported her. I don't think he means it hurtfully but I think it's meant to be that drag is originally & associated with men. However if you mean women who have transitioned to men then I can see your point. But would transgender men want to do drag if they transitioned? (from articles I've read of transgender people many hate how their bodies were and what they had to wear/act etc.)
Again, could just be me. I am simply just trying to understand
i just don't want to support a show where rupaul profits, i have no problem people watching this, but a lot of people aren't aware about the issues around it

I'm glad to hear that tbh.

I just... phew. In this topic everyone's screaming about Jensen being a shitty man and stuff like that, even though he has done good things as well.
just because they have done good things, then it doesn't mean they aren't problematic.
"Problematic"? Meaning?
See, I've never understood the way people use the word problematic, especially tumblr feminists. It's like... everything is problematic to them.
How is him doing something like this problematic?

(not a Jensen fan I just remember this picture from trying to cheer my friend up)

i normally hate urban dic, but this one is pretty close to the truth:
A blanket term that describes any action that upholds a system of oppression for any oppressed groups. Most commonly used in social justice communities.

Rupaul isn't a bad person though? He is an idol to so many?
The main issue I heard surrounding the show was "She-Mail" and a challenge episode - "She-Mail" was changed when the show realised how many people were offended & the challenge episode was deleted immediately.

I thought it was a really cute picture, him helping to lady out. I mean that stance is frickin hard to stand in for long periods of time.
I don't mind, I found it on Google (originally I saw it on Pinterest - I googled it solely for this thread xD). :3

just because he's an idol, he can still be problematic as hell
like okay i have stated this before
you can still like a person, but being blind for the shit they have done, isn't a good thing
a good fan calls their "idol" out when they do problematic behaviour

I should've guessed. Just... why do tumblr people call everything problematic? Like, fuck, even the couch my grandgrandgrandfather made is apparently 'problematic' to someone? What is going on?

Is this the end of the world? The world doesn't go out with a bang but rather with a 'nooooo oppressiooooon' cry?
(Before you claw my eyes out, yes, that was a joke. Sue me.)

Honestly though, I have never heard of him having problematic behaviour?

That too probably xD I just remember the caption which was that he was helping the lady. Either way he could've just expected her to get a step ladder or something but instead he stood like that xD.

Haha :3

Which is really cute tbh. Like: "NO. NO CHAIRS NOR LADDERS. I'VE GOT THIS, LADY."

okay listen
i didn't think spn was problematic or whatever the boys did was problematic, until i educated myself on the topics of privilege and oppression and acknowledging my own and others privileges.
it's okay not to be far in your own education on social matters, but instead of boiling it down to "tumblr people" and such, listen

really it's not that hard.
