Hey there! I'll try to help with what I know anyways c;
1) All kinds of people tend to be here but mostly it seems that the majority of the people are in their teens/teens and early twenties? I find the most active users are around 16-25 anyways. The range is pretty big though with some people in their thirties too.

2) The forums are pretty active and sometimes booming actually given the influx of people coming here from gsm.. but only during the day-night in europe (in North america it gets dead during the afternoon because it's late at nighttime/early morning in most european countries lol)

3) The main language is english and you're supposed to only use english (unless specific record labels allow otherwise)

4)I haven't used gsm since 12 years ago so I can't tell you anything about the similarities. Hopefully someone else can though.
