If you want to learn how to play I can explain it to you, it is pretty easy. 

& also I am pretty sure you can get stuff out of the shop if you need something for the contest, I don't think there is a rule against that.

something i think you should know though is that a lot of the people here were previously on a site called gosupermodel and people make references to it a lot, so yeah don't be confused if you see people talking about gsm
