I'm sure they mean well, but it's annoying. Ya feel? 
While not having these notifications are great, I am still showing up as being tagged. The people who don't know I have the setting off, likely assume im just ignoring them. I'm not digging that.


I think rather than having the option to turn the notification settings on or off, we should have the option to turn tagging on or off. If someone has the settings turned off, they won't show up on the drop-down list. As a result the person wanting to tag them will just have to send an email.
