there's three ways i had in mind, though i'm pretty sure you guys can think of more

Example A:

First in first out- for example, let's say that the limit is 50 hairs. if a person lists a 51st hair, then the oldest listing would be removed from the shop and sent back to the person's inventory

Example B:

Listing time limit- if your item isn't sold within a certain time (ex. a week), it would be returned to your invo

Example C:

Weekly/Monthly cleanouts- once a week/month, the MP would be completely emptied out to make room for more listings

I find that with c, once the mp is all cleared out everyone feels the need to sell again so it ends up being even more full than b4

considering the difference between the male and female mp i think maybe A would be better? because then the female mp would be regularly emptied while the items on the male mp would get to stay much longer (i've had people buy things i put in the mp months before on my male acc)

I think mix of A and B maybe. You would have limit how much you could put there, but still not to keep those in  there forever to actually also see who is actively selling and not from accounts that arent active anymore (then the money goes to someone who would use it).
