When you are a mentor and you get a new student linked there is an automatic message that gets sent out. I personally dislike that message and would like to be able to make a custom one. I have gotten messages back from students that the message isn't very welcomming and that it would have been better if we (mentors) could choose the text ourself. 

So I have made a habit of sending a message to them explaining that the first message is an automatic message and here is the one I have actually written, kinda annoying to have to do that but ..


So who wants to be able to edit the automatic text to something personal?
Like, get a function on social > becoma a mentor > edit text or something similar

Let me know if you have any other ideas too, I love to hear them and maybe Kaj sees it or get a message about it and will consider to make it happen?

Maybe it was brought back then. I know it was removed years ago.
the button you click to become a mentor doesn't read as "click here to become a mentor" tho. it says "mentor overview" so idk it might be an error? maybe you're not supposed to be able to sign up as a mentor, and it's just faulty code or something idk. but either way, it's possible

hmm.. i joined vp almost a year ago and i have been a mentor for a while now. 
If we are keeping the mentor thing, it would be nice if we had the choice to edit the text (maybe have an " sent to a mod to be approved" thing so people can't troll or write mean stuff etc)
